If you would like to contact another member off the board, please feel free to use the private message option that is available on that member's profile page. Remember, you must be a registered member of this forum to use this option as well as some of the other options I'm about to discuss.
Also, please don't abuse this system. If you've gotten to know a member on the board or see that you have a common interest, feel free to use the system. But don't send out numberous PM's to people you don't know or use the system as a way to find a "hook-up." That's not what the system is set up for, it's set up so members can send messages to each other without having to post it on the public pages.
To send a Private Message, you need to access that member's profile and there are various ways to do this. You can look in the "User List" for that member or simply click on their name where it appears beside any of their posts.
When using the "User List" option, you might click on the "Show List Options" link to make your search easier. Find the member you're searching for, look across the provided table for the different categoryies and you'll see the "Profile" category in black. In that column you'll see this icon:  . Click on it and that member's profile will appear.
Once you're viewing that member's profile, scroll down until you see the "Click Here to send a private message to User Name" and click on the link provided.
A private message window will open, fill in the fields and type your message. That should be all you need to do. Please read the options under the message box to make sure you have checked the options you want before you send your pm.
When you receive a private message, please read through all of the options after the message. If you want to respond to the message, there is a link you can use to respond via the private messaging system or that person's private email might appear if they chose that option. Please do not hit the "Reply" button on your email page. That won't work and you'll get an error message.
There is a link you can use to let us know if you've received an unsolicited message so please use this if you're receiving unwanted messages from anyone. Or contact me at bethie@spankingden.com or bethie@spankingbethie.com, I'll be glad to help you in any way I can.
If you don't want to receive private messages from other members, please be sure to check the box in your profile to prevent pm's from being sent to you.
Remember, when using the pm system, any messages for you will be sent to the email address you provided when you registered for membership.
