This post looked lonely so I decided to tell you all about my current job status. I have my second interview tomorrow, I had my first yesterday, then had to take a personality test, (which I guess turned out okay, 'cause he called back) and tomorrow is the second interview. So.. wish me luck.  |

Kendra! I just read this and had to respond. I have my 2nd interview for a head librarian position tomorrow!!!

I start my new job tonight (Friday) I hve been soo busy the last few days, I haven't been able to be online. I work from 11pm-7am tonight, tomorrow and 11-6 Sunday night. YAYAYAY!!!

All my best. Job starting, interviewing. Ver Nice! Good things seem to be happening for people around this board. I just got 4 more college classes to teach over the summer earlier today. That makess 10 sections of speech and communication! It will cut down on posting time but should be fun. So lets keep the roll going guys.

Ten classes spread out over 3 campuses seperated by 30 miles, starting at 8am and ending at 9:30pm, 5 days a week and Saturday mornings 9-12:30??!!
Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it. nOt to mention that TD will be free to roam the malls with no supervision all day long!
I just love summer session.

Time for the Teddy to call it a day.
I gave my last final exam for the semester last night and my class threw a party for me at the local Hooters. (yes, I told TD and the only question she asked was if I had smoked any cigarettes-The answer is no). But it was past 4 by the time I got home and had to have grades in by noon so I haven't been to sllep yet. This is one tired HeadTeddy wishing all a good a night.

I wish I could tell you guys I haven't smoked any cigarettes. But unfortunatly I have, and yesterday I paid dearly for it.. I ended up in the emergency clinic because I couldn't breathe.. and come to find out I was in the middle of a full blown asthma attack.. They had to put me on the nebulizer (which is like medicated oxygen) and had to start and IV to get me some steroids to open up my airways. She almost admitted me to the hospital but I told her I wouldn't go, because I couldn't afford it and I wanted to go home and sleep.
I don't know if any of you guys are asthmatic, but they have this thing called a peak flow meter which measures the amount of air you are able to intake. A healthy reading is anything above 350, a low reading is 200-350 and dangerous is anything below there.. well mine was 65, and the nurse said my reading wasn't "compatable with life" so... I am doing much better today I am still coughing, but this time it's productive.. which is awesome!!! Anyway.. if Ya'll want hold me accountable for the cigarettes I smoke.. feel free.. I can't ask my husband to do that, because he smokes too.. so it wouldn't be fair to ask him to punish me for smoking when he does too.. ya know.. |

Anything you feel would be helpful. I haven't smoked that many cigarettes since Monday morning.. only 3 that I can think of, which is WAY down from my norm. However you guys think you can help would be wonderful. Just let me know.
I was kinda thinking about having to write X number of times for each Cigarette "I need to quit smoking for my health and the health of my family" or something like that, and have to scan it and post it to my blog or in here or something.. but you guys are probably much more creative then that and can think of something better.
Anyway, let me know.

Take her to the cyber-play room and show her what happens to naughty girls who do not take care of their health. C'mon Kendra, are you going to let this bad habit of yours kill you!! I suggest you start a ciggie log in the cyber room, then we can all keep track of exactly how much you are smoking.
My father died of emphesema and he suffered for 12 years before it killed him.
Then after you quit, tell you husband that for every dollar he spends of ciggarettes, he has to spend $2. on you. |

I hope you are successful on your smoking habit Kendra. I know it will be especially difficult since yor husband smokes I will be there is cheer you on but I won't give any spankings though. 
I have asthma also and (cough) (groan) smoke also but I have cut my intake down from what I use to smoke.

No way am I gonna admit that I smoke. Oh wait, I just did. I have recently cut down a lot and plan to quit for real this summer once my classes are done (11 school days left). I'm definitely not buying any more and my plan is to use nicotine gum to taper off. I like that I have a long summer to quit, and it's a perfect time to do it while I don't have anyone in my life to spank me about it. Not that my last bf would have. He's a smoker too, so that wouldn't have worked.
I don't have any health problems except the veins in my leg get constricted from lack of blood flow, and causes shooting pains occasionally. I'm quitting for myself, and my future husband, whoever he turns out to be. |

Thought I'd ad to this post to say that I was offered a job today as a head librarian at a small arts college in town. I took the position and am very pleased with it. (I'm still trying to work out the salary snafu, but have high hopes for this jobbie.) |

Hi everyone. Starting a new job on Monday the 8th. I have been a stay home "crazy mom" for the past 13 months, so it will be nice to get back into the swing of things, however, it never hurts to have everyone sending good vibes your way, they are much appreciated.
