How did you actually get your first requested spanking? How do you...start? We're new to this and have done a lot of "research", if you will, but still feeling a little odd how to actually begin. We're a married couple, have been separated for 6 months (due to his job not marital problems) and he's coming home in 2 weeks. He's happy to do this for me but I'm not sure how to get the ball rolling. Any suggestions? }

Hi Nd2bspankd 
Just remembering how I got my first spanking makes me blush (and feel tingly all over!). It was a Sunday afternoon - no one at home but the two of us - so we decided it would be the perfect time for romantic play. I had been thinking about (and wishing and wanting) a spanking for MONTHS, but did not have the nerve to tell hubby. Anyway, I decided to put on a pink lacy bra and thong........needless to say, the outfit got things started.
Whenever hubby would rub or touch my bottom, I would moan softly, or tell him how good it felt - then I whispered to him..."Now what would happen if I were a naughty girl?" He laughed and swatted my butt lightly - it was then that I told him how much I liked that.....He continued to spank...I responded, and the rest is history. 
It does take a lot of talking - and although I was embarrassed at first to tell him how much I enjoyed it, doing so was WELL worth it!!
So, my suggestion is to just tell him~~~it might feel a little "odd" at first, but believe me, its the best!

I did finally tell him. Since he has been out of town, it was cowardly but, I did via email. Gave him a little scenario to re-enact via naughty email. He promised me a good warming when he gets home but I guess I'm anxious if a) he'll remember and b) if he'll really do it
I like how you praised your hubby when he touched your bottom...good idea. I'll try that. I think I'm desperate enough now that I'll just scream at him to do it if he doesn't.Guess I'll find out in 2 weeks. Can't tell I'm anticipating it can you? ha ha Time just won't fly by fast enough. Hopefully I'll have lots of suggestions before he returns.

I think Pink gae some great advice, personally I'm a big fan of just lying across Jake's lap, but I don't think I would have been so brave my first time, so I think Pink's advice is great... just be as naughty as you can be and let us know how it turns out!

E-mailing is not a cowardly way out, it is actually a good way to tell him what you are thinking and giving him time to digest it. If you are concerned about him forgetting, there are spanking e cards available. You can send him one every couple of days and he will get the hint and will realize that this fetish is not unique to you.

Thanks, Katie and Fanny. It only took me 16 years to speak up. ha ha (I want out of the closet!) I think once we get the initial one done it will be easier from then on. Break the ice so to speak. Just google spanking e-cards and you will get several sites. I don't want to recommend any particular one as they are mostly all good and you can pick the one that suites you best.

My first was also a Sunday afternoon...
We had a bit of an argument..."Sometimes I'd like to beat your buns" she snapped...and after a few seconds...I snapped back..."Why don't you then ?"
She DID ! 
It open up a great line of communications, and with time we honed spanking into our DD home.

We use spanking for both dicipline and pleasure.
Sounds like it could be a conflict, but, there is a huge difference it the way it is done.
Whenever I show any form of dis-respect toward my wife, during an arguement or otherwise, She lets me know in a very pointed way and I know that sitting will be very difficult for the next few days !  (a bit more than a little smack!) 
We find we communicate freely when the dreaded event is carried out, both before and after.
This has made a huge difference in our relationship !
Then there are times she lovingly pulls me over her lap, and paddles me just for a turn on...

mine and A's first spanking was quite embarassing...we met at a college party and i had already been curious about spanking for years. He wasn't into it and had never really considered it. After 2 weeks of knowing eachother i started making scenario's and having him participate for fun. I just asked my hubby when we were in a big city on vacation. We were lying in bed and I looked up at him and said, "Sometimes I wish you would spank me." His eyes widened and he said he'd try it. Wow! Fun, fun, fun! This was YEARS ago, but we have had many dry spells since then due to family responsibilities, etc. The setting is always erotic (with imagined disciplinary sessions in my head).

I too mentioned it first on vacation. but for us it was actually our honeymoon. We had a vew discussions about it, but waited until we were home to have our first spanking.
He needed the time to digest what I was asking for, and while I was antsy about it, we had enough going on with our trip to distract me from hounding him too much. |

Thanks all! Now I know why everyone jumps at the chance for an erotic spanking when the kids are gone. ha ha Hard to time things well.
