This is cool.
I joined the Den for obvious reasons, but I have studied the human mind for years. I have a neat little personality test that I have used at parties if any one it interested just for kicks.
I will give you 4 shapes, draw them or just picture them in your mind. Then choose the one you like best. It is that simple. Shapes have meaning to the human mind and it reveals facts about your personality that you may not even realize yourself. Up for it?
Here are the shapes: Triangle. Square. Circle. Octagon.
Be back to post the answers on tuesday if any one responds. I will not be mad if you don't a lot of people clam up on this one cause they don't want some one inside their head. But at a big dinner recently I batted 1000 with this, every person said it was accurate. |

Thanks for responding you 2, I will post the results in the morning before I go out of town for the day, I was hoping to hear from Bethie too before I do (HINT!=). I think maybe she ignored my post because nobody got spanked! =)
I will go on and say that this test reveals many angles of the human mind, but directly related spankees it would appeal to each shape for different reasons. I had guessed you an octagon Badgirl! I am too. Glad you did not let me down. =) |

i would say square, although my hubby says i seem more complicated than that (in his words 'a circle is at equillibrium with itself and a square is too self limiting/rigid and a triangle is more versatile but usually off balance'), which i guess would then leave the octagon...
...hmm i dunno cuz my hubby often knows me better than i know myself, but my first choice was the square... |

Just got in and can't sleep so I will go ahead and post the results. Thanks to all for answering.
There is tons more to this, like, romantic matches, childhood tendencies etc. but I don't want to write a book here so I will give you the brief version.
To the human mind each shape has a meaning:
Triangle - Determination (Wide base / Arrow like pointed top)
Square - Balance (Equal all around)
Circle - Life (The most natural shape)
Octagon - Wisdom (The most complex shape)
The mind prefers one for the reason the mental association most important to us stands out.
The triangle has a wide base (Foundation) and a pointed top (Focus) it appeals to people who have very strong wills. Why would they be into spanking? Maybe they know some one with a strong will needs it. Being a bottom gives them balance, but as a top they are too powerful and better have conscience! They tend to be stubborn people who are not open minded. But are good motivaters, leaders, and supporters being strong for others.
Squares are perfectly balanced, so it appeals to minds who seek fairness and justice, even for themselves! Needless to say squares make good DDers being appreciative of rules and penalties, making them good tops or bottoms. Squares are good dependable people, but fall into ruts easily and can suffer from depression if life gets too unfair, but they are the faithful workers the world depends on to keep it turning.
Circles appeal to minds that like the simple pleasures of life, like good food, fun, laughs, and above all sex. Circles are fun people who often lack long term planning skills and responsibility. They make great romantic partners because they can set it all side for the fun and if they are into spanking it is just plain because it is fun! Top or bottom whatever turns them on, they will do it. Circles may NEED DD to keep them on course though!
Octagons are shapes you have to think about. Wise minds love octagons, because to make one you have to mentally cut the corners off of a square. They are thinkers with a great imaginations and problem solvers. They have deep personalities, which some times are misunderstood, getting them labeled "A little strange". Because of open minded in depth imaginations they are the most prone to fetish of all types. |

Badgril, I guessed you an octagon for many reasons from your post:
1 odds, more octagons are into kinks that other shapes
2 your posts sound like you put a lot of thought into them, thus a thinker
3 You seem above average in the open minded department
4 You don't seem hard enough for a triangle, even though you said you would kill me when you found out about me spanking my GF when I knew some one was watching! lol
5 Too much of a thinker for a circle
6 Gut instinct you were not a square, though that could have been. |

thanks Aka, i think im half square and half octagon, so i guess hubby and i were both right (or maybe i just dont want to lose or win the bet he and i had going )
...ok im the square and hes the octagon, but we had fun with this so thanks for posting!

I gave my hubby the this test. He was a triangle. Though he looked at me kinda weird when I told him to pick a shape. LOL

Well AKA, I have to admit I would pick the octagon by its descriptions, but I could sincerely say that I see some of myself in each of the descriptions -- except maybe the square. I really don't think anyone would describe me as perfectly balanced, although I do think I seek fairness and justice!
But heck, I will take it as a complement!
