1) Two US coins are worth 30 cents and one is not a quarter. What are the two coins? 2)A father drives his son to school and they have a terrible accident. The father is killed. The son is badly injured and needs emergency surgery. At the hospital, the surgeon looks at him horrified and says: "I can't do it, this boy is my son!". Who's the surgeon? * this is one of my favorite riddles!* 3)What can you hold in your left hand but not in your right hand? 4) You have a candle, an oil lamp, wood in a fireplace, and only one match... What do you light first? 5) "Finished files are the result of years of scientific study and a lot of common sense." How many times does the letter " f " appear in the above sentence? * this is easier for people with speech and reading impediments!* |

3) For example the thumb of your right hand or any of the fingers of your right hand. 4) The candle because it can easily be used to light the other two. 5) Is there some trap hidden in it? I've counted the letter "f" six times, but that can't be the riddle. No ideas about 1) and 2), although I have to admit that 2) is definitely intriguing and that I am curiously waiting for the answer. |

Shylah, you rock! 5/5 The trick for number five is that most people don't count the "v" sounding "f"s in "of". Hope they amused all! |
