Is there an erotic component to DD spankings, or are these usually done just for punishment purposes? |

In my relationship we ahve DD but we also have playful spankings. any playful or erotic spankings would not be punishment thus not DD. At least that is how he and I see it. I get "good girl" spankings...but they are given nowhere near punishment standards. GG ones can be by hand or a soft impliment... or even a harder impliment just not used to full force. They can involve petting and carressing, kissing, etc.
Punishments are harder. IHe doesn't give warm ups and after about 3 swats Im in tears. |

I think that would completely depend on the couple involved. Some would say yes, because spanking is always erotic, even if it is for punnishment. Some would say no, it's totally different. Some practice DD who have no erotic interest in spanking.
There are as many variations on this as there are couples practicing it. |

I get both punishment spankings and erotic spankings. I know that if my husband is upset with me about something then my punishment will be far from erotic. He is disappointed and will make me feel that way when I'm done receiving my spanking. There will not (usually) be any sex after a punishment spanking, as I will have to sit and think about what I've done wrong. This is on punishment spankings relating to unsafe behavior, or really bad attitudes, etc.
On the other hand, sometimes I get "punished" for minor things I've done wrong, and they can end up being very erotic. When I've "hardly" done something wrong, I need to still receive my punishment spanking. If my husband isn't real upset about it, it tends to end up erotic. He gives me a punishment spanking because it is in the guidelines we both set for ourselves. I don't ever expect anything erotic from a punishment spanking at all, but when it's a minor infraction, I tend to get more excited than not! |
