My bf wins the prize for laziest top EVER. During our last session, I was lying on the bed bottom up and he pulled up a chair next to the bed and SAT DOWN as he used the canes (granted this was after a loooong session with other implements that left me pretty sore, but still). Any other laziest top stories? |

Ha Ha so I am not the only one. My husband has done the same on a few occasions during a long session. I find it a little lazy too, but it is ok with me. The more comfortable he is seems the more uncomfortable I am!!!! |

In the middle of a busy Sunday my wife and I were lamenting that RL was getting in the way of play time. So we made a date to play that evening come hell or high water. So after supper I'm just getting a chance to sit down when she says, "Are we going to play or what?" So I says "Go up, get the out the toys and put the cuffs on, I'll be up in a minute." Ok, so "maybe" I dozed off. In anycase I become aware of a thumping eventually and head upstairs to investigate... So there she is cuffed, (and these are lock-on cuffs) with both leg cuffs and one arm cuff tie-wrapped to the bed frame. The realization that both the wirecutters we use to cut the tie-wraps for quick release AND the cuff keys were both just out of reach must have hit just about the same time she inserted the wrist cuff tie-wrap since it was not pulled up tight, but was still very much secured... The thumping was her attempts to reach either one - I suspect she was having second thoughts about her predicament by that point so she had not hollered for assistance. So all I had to do was slip the last tie wrap on her free hand and get down to business. But just to clarify, I was tired - I.was.not.lazy! Peter |

Let's all take this as a BIG safety tip. Fortunately, no one was injured in this situation, but it could have been ripe for trouble. Just my opinion, Peter, but if you were too tired to play, it was not a good idea to tell your wife to restrain herself. Had either of you had an medical emergency or had there been a fire, you would be playing with disaster. Queen of Innocence "Well behaved woman rarely make history"

I did not tell her to restrain herself, that was her idea, and she could easily have 1) called out, and 2) the tie wraps have a release strength of about 50 lbs. (One of the reasons we use them other than for speed of attachment and release) I do agree leaving a person while they are restrained is a definite no-no. The leading cause of death due to BDSM activities is for people restrained in a vertical position. Being held immobile and vertical leads to loss of blood flow to the brain and hence loss of consciousness, somethimes in as little as 15 minutes. Combined with restraints around the chest, or worse the neck, this is frequently fatal. Most of these deaths are a solo activity, and predominantly boys but it happens with couples as well... On the other hand let's keep things in perspective. I often hear this "what if there was a fire or medical emergency" question raised when bondage is discussed. The likelyhood of that is no more than when you are asleep in your bed and in my mind detracts from a discussion of the very real dangers of restraint. But that should be a topic for another thread and maybe even another forum since I have managed to highjack this one quite sufficiently |

In full apology to TamedShrew, I do have to address these opposing statements Peter: First you say, "So I says "Go up, get the out the toys and put the cuffs on" Now you say, "I did not tell her to restrain herself, that was her idea" You are a very articulate man with a lot of statistics and opinions, but you need to be consistant in your stories. Any more discussion between us on this topic will go to PM please. Queen of Innocence "Well behaved woman rarely make history"
