The other day, while arguing with my husband, we got into it about TTWD, and he told me that it was just a stupid obsession, that frankly he didn't care about anyway. I felt soo lost and confused. For a while he wanted to, or at least acted like he did, and now he's telling me it's a stupid obsession?? So, now what? Do I just let go of my desires/needs and let him have his way, get rid of everything that has to do with spankings and TTWD? I don't know what I'm going to do, but if you don't hear from me for a while, please don't worry, I'm fine, besides you can always pm me. Love you guys, Kryssi May the Spirit of the Elves guide you.

I think it can certainly be termed an obsession sometimes. I know I can lose whole days to reading spanking stories. My husband, though a positively wonderful man, does not share my delight in the subject. Though he has gotten signficantly more playful about wrestling around, pinning me and then spanking the daylights out of me...I don't think he has the long-standing fantasies that I do about spanking. And I am really ok with that, I'm sure he has fantasies that I wouldn't obsess about too. In fact, I am certain he does. That being said, I don't push him and I supplement my interest with cyber play, reading stories and interacting with others on the board. Now, I realize that works for me, and might not for you but that is my take on it. And dear, if you are feeling lost and confused...that is exactly when you shouldn't disappear from the board. Places such as this can help you wade through and sort those feelings. Don't disappear and bottle them up sweetie. Why don't you post a "rant" here...get it all vented out with all your muddled and confused feelings and see if that doesn't help some. Hang tight young one! And I suppose this hadn't done much for your quit smoking plan now has it? Hugs, Kimbers "I wish the real world would just stop hassling me!" -Matchbox 20

If I post a "rants" it'll be on my blog. I don't want to bore you all with my feelings. It's not so much the fantasy that I want, it's the feeling of security that most people feel for their significant other. It's not that I don't feel that I am safe, it's just that I need that little reassurance, ya know. That sense that he is willing to do anything for me, no matter what it is.. and so far, he hasn't done ANYTHING I asked him too.. I know I sound selfish in that, but isn't it a womans right to feel secure in her man?? May the Spirit of the Elves guide you.

Totally, I feel the same way, I thought my man was never going to come around to the idea of it, but after our talk today I think he is. If you want to IM me about this to talk I'd be glad to listen, I am a great listener. Take care Babyj- worlds cutest little brat!

There is nothing wrong with an obsession as long as it does not deter you from doing other things in your life. I certainly would not give up something you want or need just for his sake, perhaps you could come up with a new posistion, or implement or try role playing to keep your 'obsession' fresh and exciting for both of you. |
