i have been reading here for quite a while now and have finally plucked up the courage to say hello. How i wish i could find my special one that could give me all i desire and quite obviously need! I am in the north east of England but have not had much luck in my personal search here as yet. |

Maybe you should just focus on finding a good man first. I am married to an Englishman (from the Northwest) and have just recently turned him into a spanker after 25 years of marriage. We are both having a lot of fun exploring this new world. In my experience most men will do almost anything to please their woman if he really loves her. |

Although I would love to agree with you, Tin, I don't think in this case it is more complicated. Spanking should be consentual on both sides and if anyone is doing something just to please their partner, eventually some resentment may build up.
I am not sure whether you "turned him into a spanker" or he was just very receptive to the idea. Some people cannot get passed the idea of spanking being harmful.
My point is just that it can be misleading to suggest that if I man REALLY loves a woman he will do almost anything to please her. Many men really love a woman, but cannot or will not go against what they feel comfortable with. What a man or woman does is not indicative of how much they love someone.
I am glad you are getting what you want, but I just don't want any lurkers to get the idea that the person they love, doesn't love them because they aren't into the lifestyle.

I DO agree with you in everything you say, Fanny. Sorry for being so opinionated and not making my point clearer.
If your man doesn't want to spank you, it doesn't mean he doesn't love you. My point was; that maybe Nawtygurls chances of finding a partner where perhaps greater if she started by finding a man she could develop a really good and trusting relationship with. In my experience men will do ALMOST anything to please their partner - seeing her smile and looking relaxed and satisfied is very rewarding and important to most men. At least in my part of the world and i can't imagine we are that different.
And no - you are quite right - I don't think I "turned my husband into a spanker" neither - I am just feeling a little exuberant and on-top-of-the-world at the moment and then I tend to brag a bit. Our spankings are only erotic and those tendencies was probably lurking in him all along. He certainly seems to be enjoying himself at the moment, searching the house for new spanking implements, with a big, evil grin on his face  . But I also know, that he would probably never go along with anything resembling punishment/disciplinary spankings, which is not what I want neither. That, to me, would be a whole different kettle of fish and I would imagine that would be much harder for someone to get into. I don't know what it is nawtygurl needs or wants in that respect. Only she knows that. |

I agree with you that a relationship needs to go beyond spanking and everyone should look for a partner that they can have a good relationship with inside, but more importantly outside of the bedroom.
