I don't know if I ever actually posted in the meet and greet area, which I'm pretty sure is a spanking offense, since I've been a memeber here for... good god, *counts on fingers '2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012...did I join before 2007?* anyhow, I've been a member here for six years, maybe more. Wow. Anyhow, I'm using the username Minerva. I think that's cause that was my main online name when I joined up. I go by Terri, TerriJude, or Judith most of the time these days, although there are a few sites that still know me as Minerva, or as Minnie. And a few sites that still know me as Georgy, too. Yeah, I got taught in school to never give my real name out online. Although having said that, a few sites know me as the name I was born with, the name I owned for two years until I was adopted and a new name (and a lot of other things I won't go into because they make me too upset) was forced on me...*hits head. MUST get over that. MUST get over that. MUST NOT let that rule life... one day I'll get around to legally changing my name back to what it shoudl be!* Er, yeah. So, anyway, mini-rant over, back to topic. The screen-name Minerva Granger has served me well and faithfully, although it has had a LOT of different incarnations. It started out as Minerva Judith (several other middle names) Mavis Granger. Then the Minerva and the Judith switched places. Then more middle names added themselves, and their orders switched around a lot. THe one name to remain in the same place at all times was the Mavis. oh, and the Granger. The name, as it stands now, Is Judith Therese (many middle names) Mavis Granger. I am fighting a losing battle against a hyphenated surname, since a second surname keeps tacking itself on without my permission. Anyhow, as a few of you already know, I live in...hmmmm... oh yes. Terra Australis Del Espiritu Santo. (Yes, that was my land's full title, as given to us by the Portugese. It means 'Land down under of the Holy Spirit'. Amazing what you leanr in history and politics at school, isn't it?) Oh, and as I just demonstrated, I got the nickname Minerva Granger the first time because I'm so much of a walking encylcopaedia, according to my classmates, that I'm a cross between Minerva McGonagall and Hermione Granger. Frankly, I can't see the resemblance. I do agree with them, though, Hermione McGonagall just sounds STRANGE. So, erm, Hi from down under. Forgive the spelling errors, if you please, I am legally blind, after all.I guess that's what happens when both one's eyes decide they no longer like cornea transplants...which I think I've complained about to you guys before as well. Warning: Multilingual Brat approaching....hairbrush IS a language, right? There's no need to lead me into temptation, I designed the roadmap for getting there! Two simple rules: 1: The Brat is always right. 2: If, by some unforseen disaster, the Brat should happen to be wrong, the management of this establishment respectfully requests that all parties refer to rule 1
