Hi everyone, hope you are having a great weekend so far. Does any other bottoms, when they are out shopping, look for things that can be used to spank them, and then buy them? Today I was in target looking around and happened to see a all plastic red fly swatter, well it was only 99 cents so I bought it, also bought a very sturdy wooden spoon. Am I the only crazy one? Haven`t had them tried out on me yet cause my SO won`t be home till tomorrow night and I am sure he definitley will want to. Have a great weekend all!! Take care, Piper p.s. this is the best web site I have ever run across, so informative!!!}}} |

Well Piper...join the club. I am constantly on the lookout for interesting and unique items that can also be used for spanking. You would think by now that I would learn that these things invariably sting/hurt and I would stop buying them, wouldnt you? Am I really that dense? I always get in trouble in the cooking section of any store. Wooden spoons/spatulas/cutting boards have all come from there. Let me warn you against plastic or silicone items like spatulas and cake frosters...YEOWCH! Other things you can find...belts, paddleball game paddles, hairbrushes, flyswatters, etc. Too bad that most stores dont carry arnica, it's only right since they carry the other items! wolfie loves Steve more than anything else in the whole world...even more than chocolate and lobster! Arnica is a product found in health food stores. It comes in tablet form and in a cream or lotion. It helps with bruising after a spanking...a lot of folks swear by it. If you dont need arnica, still remember to use a good moisturizer on your bottom. Spanking dries out the skin, and you want to keep it soft and supple. One with aloe vera in it is especially good. I will be going to see my Dom, my love in October. We havent been together for a long time, since he lives in the UK and I'm here in the US....so I'm more excited than I can say! wolfie loves Steve more than anything else in the whole world...even more than chocolate and lobster! For relatively light-duty use, the wooden sticks used for stirring paint work well. When out shopping, also look out for wooden dowels (they're sort of like cane, but the down side is they break more easily), stakes used for gardening tomatos(most are cane), leather anything, marine lines, and the web strapping used for shoulder supports for briefcases, knapsacks, camera bags, etc. The list is endless. As is the enjoyment. Cheers |

If you know anything about canes, you'll know that those garden stakes are not cane. They're bamboo and not flexible like cane (real rattan canes). They are also very dangerous because they will break and or split. Then they grab the skin and break it which will cause scarring. Guaranteed! Get yourself a real proper rattan cane from Spankncane or Adam and Gillians but play carefully with it as it can break the skin and will scar. I know these things from experience. Also the tip comes down very fast and can leave a mark that looks like a scald burn and stays there like a scar. Practice and watch that tip! |

Hi Kennysspankee You are absolutely right about the garden "canes" not being real cane. You're also quite right about the care needed in using these implements. I've found them useful, fun, and interesting, though, particularly when impacting the butt with the mid-section of the cane. Because there is less leverage exerted by or on that part of the bamboo, you don't get any significant damage yet you still get that nice whistling through the air as it descends. Yes, the tip can be dangerous, depending on the force use in application. But I think that is true for almost any spanking instrument. I only mentioned the "tomato stake" as a possible and sometimes useful tool in a long list of other fun devices. Thanks for the comments, though, and please keep them coming. Cheers Speev. |

There's actually a term for what you describe...pervertables. :D I've had many a long discussion about such items, and my wife and I are constantly finding items when we're out shopping and bringing them to the other. Usually, not a word needs to be said, and the item usually ends up in the shopping cart. Some good ones I've found: - A pizza paddle that was more of a narrow oval shape (10 x 4, probably). Based on a recommendation from a friend, I got some felt at a hobby shop and glued it to one side. The wood sides nice and crisp, and the felt side is very thuddy (and very quiet for covert play sessions), and also nice for rubbing with. - When I was cleaning out my grandmother's attic years ago, I found a great wooden yardstick. It was from the 50s (the phone number on it was something like KLondike 5-1212). Its much thicker than what you find today, and hangs on the back of our bedroom door. :D - Many different spatulas and wooden spoons. Wooden stir fry spoons, which are more like a wooden spatula, are also good, though the slotted ones break very easily, and you have to worry about the edges of the slots. As you slide down the banisters of life may the splinters never point the wrong way. Old Irish Proverb

Searching for, and using, pervertibles is a great fun. Garden stacks, and dowels are not good to use, BUT....., there are alternatives. Check out the coated orange sticks, used for road construction, or marking land. You can find these orange sticks in the "Hardware" section at the major home improvement centers. They are flexible and coated, so they shouldn't break easily. They are quite long though, so I would recommend cutting it in half maybe, and taping the open end, and use that as the handle side. (Or, do as my friend did, and remove one from a parking lot under construction. ) The rod, used on window blinds is another alternative. There are several types, so be careful which one would be used. The highly flexible ones, that I've seen, tend to be clear. The caution comes into play when the rod has multi sides, as the edges could cut or scratch the skin. If you like the dowel, or garden stake, it can still be used, and to be even more wicked, you can actually coat it with rubber. The rubber will provide it a clean coat to prevent cracking, and make it easy to clean. There's a can of liquid rubber stuff, in the paint section of the home improvement store. You can either dip it, or paint it on. A rubber coated rattan cane is more wicked than a bare one, so I'm thinking it might be the same with the pervertibles too. Someone I know in MI, makes and sells great canes, at pretty good prices, from what I've seen online. Quality merchandise, from canes to leather goodies. Check his site at spankncane.com if you're interested in the rubber coated canes. Oh...I have a rubber coated Singapore too. Any volunteers to try it out? K |

While in the hardware store today, I strayed through the wine making supply area. There I spotted a thing that looked like it would make a good cane. It's called a syphon tube. It's flexible, yet firm and comes in two widths and I think there were three lengths. If we didn't have a real cane already we'd have bought a couple. They'd never break and they're light like a cane not dense and heavy like a lot of things you can use to substitute for the cane. |

Geeze fireman- Master uses the same term- he actually called me from Toys-R-Us the other day, and told me he was in a good mood, so was looking for a "pervertable"!!!!!!!!! YIKES. In Toys-R-us...somehow that just doesn't seem right- I also made the mistake of going into a Home Depo with the man....all I can say is, he MUST lay in bed at night plotting this stuff, cause nobody could be that evil without working at it |

Check out a pet store! Awesome display of brushes, long and thick leather straps ect. They all have a very nasty side to them though, so be careful. Most brushes have thick splines on one side, interesting to cut very short though. Now whenever I browse a pet store I wonder about people checking out things like this, and wonder if they have pets or not. |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I know ping pong paddles aren't that popular cause they break easy, which is a shame because of the suitability in the otk position. But, what I like to do to them is remove the rubber from one side and sand it smooth, spray can varnish is easy to apply. I then drill a 1/4 inch hole every 3/4 of an inch. I use a 5/16 drill to break the edge on each hole. This makes using it a whole new experience.Of course they can stil break if used to hard, but with the holes, the air resistence is lowered, the sound different and little cute 1/4 circles form on the bottoms buns. i just might market them with an unbreakable handel.(The olympic ping pong team might like them too, but the holes?) Once the holes are drilled they kind of stick out like a sore thump in the rack by the table though. I worked in the boat building ind. for a long time and synthetic materials have come a long way too! I wouldn't rule out the feather tickler for the other hand Wolfie-alternate with feathers for a squirming break every 20 whacks? |

A feather on a hot bottom? One of my favorite things! But a wood paddle, varnished with holes drilled in it...lethal! Wolfie go bye bye!

i am looking all the time for items i call pervertables.. like wood dowels 3/8 inc or so then take silicone tubing to slide down over the wood make for nice grippy caning, or went into harbor freight and saw a electric flyswatter looks like a raquet ball raquet but it has two layers of fine wire that carries a electric charge ummm shocking toy... mild but still enough to get her attention.. that silicone tube that you buy by the foot makes for great bondage for breasts..stretchy and you don't have to tie knots in it. just loop a bit under the wrapped area snd it stays. makes for a interesting expression when you quickly flick it off after a little bit of time as the sensation of all the blood flowing back into the flesh elicits a sharp ohhhh ahhhh ouuuuu ummmm from her.. so the answer is yes heck the other day i was in toys r us and was looking for items for play ... |

Arts and crafts with sting in mind always has always been a favorite of mine. Balsa core wood, or air core foam is brittle, but covered with a layer of fiberglass? (Most yachts are built this way) Flexible, totally unbreakable, but careful sanding required for splinter removal. Sands out very smooth. It's light, but packs a wonderful wallop. The dimensions are limitless. Water and moisture proof too, for those that have an outdoor woodshed. |

My ever creative sweetie makes these little stingers that have to be felt to be believed. Steve has found this plastic substance that is moldable once it is in hot water for a bit. He has turned it into paddles and spatula shaped stingers...the bite is incredible! I have a true love/fear relationship with the darn thing...it's fun but I cant take more than a few swats with it! For those of you truly evil Tops/Doms...a sisal mat on a hard chair makes a nasty place to sit your bare-bottomed sub once a disciplinary spanking has occurred. As an ending to a serious punishment, it's diabolical! wolfie loves Steve more than anything else in the whole world...even more than chocolate and lobster! On a more serious note, I would stay away from fibre glass. It is very unforgiving and even used carefully can leave some nasty bruises. Despite it apparent flexibility low grade fibre glass does have a tendency to split or shatter. While it does have good elastic and flexability properties it does not have the same impact capabilities as bamboo for example.
