The belt or strap love both ...... most definitely so much of a comfort when I am out of sorts LOL. Meaning not quite right and jittery-stressed need the relief. For some reason I don't have a per-say a temper. Never tried the cane or switch the cane I have a inner fear of due to play parties (the sound of the swisssh freaks me out I know *nuts*) mostly hoping I overcome it and try the cane some day. Did is a word of achievement, Won't is a word of retreat, Might is a word of bereavement, Can't is a word of defeat, Ought is a word of duty, Try is a word of each hour, Will is a word of beauty, Can is a word of power. *(Unknown Author) Don't take life so seriously.....it isn't permanent

My temper would be his hand. It takes awhile for me to get there and it takes a lot to reach that hot point. Of course, once it's all done, we both feel better and there's no long lasting effects. Hmmm it's a good thing too bad my temper, which is like a hand spanking, usually ends up with me getting more than that! |

My temper would be more like an icicle I guess.. hard and sharp but breaks easily. I don't get mad often and I stay mad for maybe 10-15 minutes. Just can't hold onto negative emotions. |

Definitely a paddle. The thing to worry about is when I get quiet and reserved. It means someone's going to be standing up for dinner or sleeping on her stomach. Listener "Why is it that no other species but man gets bored? Under the circumstances in which a man gets bored, a dog goes to sleep." -Walker Perry Oh, and the avatar picture is my favorite paddle. It's wooden, fairly heavy, and about a foot across. Just so you know before you start sassing me. *grin*

I would agree with you on the cane my love, you do reach flash point immediately when your angry. But you dont usually hold onto your anger very long thankfully, and you would never spank me when your like that. Still, I dont like those spankings when you remember some of the naughtier things Ive done. Oucheeeeeee! |

I have a tendency for holding things in and letting things build and stew, so I suppose my temper would most be compared to the hand... It takes a lot to make me genuinely angry, but once I get there and I lose my temper...Oh boy...The good thing is when it reaches this point I usually get it all out of my system, and I'm no longer angry afterwards...the bad thing is, this can sometimes come out in a temper tantrum, when I finally stop stewing and let everything out that's been bugging me all at once. Luckily I don't get angry that often tho...I'm a pretty easy going person as a rule... There are colors and feelings and emotional terrain that we occupy that are ours and ours alone...

I'd have to say a cane, when my temper hits it's fast and sharp, but my cane breaks with the first swat. I can't maintain the anger and it quickly flows into tears. The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

Hm...a belt or a paddle I guess. I do have a temper, but I am not reticent to speak my mind, and it's rare for me to stay angry or hold a grudge. |

Hand... When I get angry, it is hot and stingy, but it is also very personal. Flesh against flesh is the best way to descibe it. Alas, he was the Highwayman The one who comes and goes And only the Highway Woman Keeps up with the likes of those...

Wow, I would have to say my temper is the cane with a nice warm up with the hand. It takes a while for the emotions to get that strong, but they keep building and building and then suddenly I'm outraged. It takes a while, but happens sooo fast. "you must tie her down and spank her, spank her well and after you've spanked her, spank me.."

My temper is defintely more like a paddle-sharp and hard and to the point with a message when I get angry. I really don't get angry that much at all-never have. I think maybe three times in 27 years with TD have I been angry and less than thatw ith my daughters. I prefer to laugh and luckily my girls know how to make me laugh pretty easily. I do get in a pissy mood when frustrated but it never lasts very long. Enjoy: HT Every Challenge is An Opportunity

My anger is markedly different, depending on my relationshp with a person. For example, with Steve, my Dominant/Husband of 24 years), I feel I'm like a whippy switch. Bitey, stingy, like a pocketful of bees, whose multiple buzzy burns become more and more irritating over time, building to an near unbearable fervor, until He takes over and removes the hornets' stingers. However, with Joe, my Submissive Partner of 3 years, I am very much like a paddle and a cane. Fast, striking hard and without mercy, driving home the point I have to make with sure fired shots of determination, whose effects are felt long after the emotions are spent. I need to add an aside here... I have spanked joe while angry. We play with anger differently than many people would. It is a part of our dynamic. We are very intense, rough, and edgy, in many of our interactions. Even so, the discipline I give to him is consentual, and he is given a reminder of that consent at each episode. I'd also like to add, that if you meet us, you'll likely find the idea of us being angry at each other surpising. The love, affection, and devotion we have for one another is immediately evident, as it is the larger portion of our relationship. |

Chantryss, you lead a very interesting life style. Do Steve and Joe know of each other? I just wonder how these relationships work. |

chuckles.... Steve, Joe and I all live together. We have another partner (Karen) who will moving in with us sometime next year. I have a spousal relationship with Joe(3 yrs) and Steve(24 yrs). Steve has a spousal relationship with Karen (2 years) and myself. We're all very good friends, and our unique family unit works well for us. The personality dynamics are key to that success and it all came together on its own, though there were several hitches in the process when we tried it with others in the past. We are not swingers (though no offense is intended to those who choose to be swingers. In our chosen dynamic, we are faithfully committed within our quad. That's what works for us! There are some articles on Sexuality.org that talk about Polyfidelity. Bear in mind though, that everyone's family cluster is different. In ours, we aren't all mutually sexually active with each other. Joe and Karen, Joe and Steve, and Karen and I do not have an intimate relationship sexually. I wouldn't say that we aren't emotinally intimate though, as we all care very deeply for one another...as all family members do. http://www.sexuality.org/l/polyamor/polart2.html A final disclaimer: Poly is hard. D/s is hard. A Poly/D/s Household is NOT for the faint of heart! But it is beautiful when it comes together. Hugs Kelly |
