I am new to the Spanking Den and am curuious about the play area. How do I use it and is there any ettiquette i need to observe. Any advice would be welcome. |

Check out the cyberplay area and see for yourself - it's a good time and I think there maybe protocol - defintely no age play. Welcome and happy spankings!

Laszlo, all we ask is that you follow the site rules as they're listed in the Site Information Area and reiterated at the top of the Cyber Play page, as well as basic rules of netiquette. No flaming, please! Just be respectful of the other players and you should be fine.
We've had a player or two who got too caught up in the moment and did or said something that went past another player's comfort level and we've had to ask them to reign it in, but that's been very rare. If you read through the threads you'll get an idea of what type of play that is typical for here.
Also, read through the threads to familiarize yourself with the players. If you see an active one that looks interesting and you think you'll be able to fit in, say hello and see what kind of reaction you get.
As one of the few single male tops on the board, don't be surprised if you get a whole bunch of brats jumping up and down for your attention. Don't be scared off though, they're just extra friendly!

I'd like to add one thing to this and something that has bothered me on other boards.
Tops,treat the spankees on the cyber threads the way you would in real life. I dont know anyone who would just walk up to a person, grab them and start using a cane or such on them without any dialogue first. Wait until someone says something bratty; use a threat to heighten the anticipation, then if she doesnt stop being naughty go ahead and spank. Just remember Laszlo, whether for discipline or fun...if you spank someone nicely, they will always come back for more. Although they may have to wait at the back of the line for a while!
And ladies...brattiness can go way overboard! Try being a little more clever in your bratting instead of bashing a Top over the head with a mallet. Its no wonder most of the Tops here dont want to play when you send so many mixed signals. Most of us go to the cyber threads to play, tease and get spanked...dont constantly say you wont be spanked and get physical when they try. Squirming and struggling is fine, but lets keep the fun threads FUN.

Wolfie I'm glad you posted what you did. One of the reasons I don't tend to play in cyber play is because I can't be like some of the ladies are....I can't brat like that and then pretend to run or call Tops bad names....I thought maybe it was just me not knowing how to play. Fun is the word...so thanks Wolfie!!  |

I rarely go there myself for that same reason Tammy. I wish the Tops would realize that if they only spanked the quieter, gentler brats, that the others might tone down their naughtiness so they might get the opportunity to play as well.
Unfortunately, it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease...or in this case the loudest brat who gets spanked. Listen up guys, the brattiness level is up to you!

Word to the wise, excessive bratting might get you spanked in the cyber play area, but tops looking for real partners aren't going to take you seriously. Very few tops want brats that need constant correction.
And don't get me started about brats who "magically" escape their spankings when they've been baiting and bratting a certain top all along. That's just being childish, don't be a brat then wiggle away while laughing at the top you've been taunting.
Playful and clever bratting will not only get their attention, but it will intrigue them as well. And joining in the discussions so they know your opinions about the spanking lifestyle will let you get to know each other. This works much better than the excessive and relentless bratting I've seen.
I should know because that's how I got the attention of a certain top (Dan) on a similar board. I played nice and talked alot about what I wanted in a spanking relationship. Now I have him and the spankings, too.

If you're on a website, how can you get a spanking? Let me explain: one member posted what is below -

Sulla, do you have any spanking experience? If so, I would spank on the cyber threads the same as you do in real life.
If not, spank as you would like to spank someone. Just remember that most brats want to have fun with the spanking, so add things like conversation, a lecture, different toys, etc. Make it interesting...maybe even funny. Just going "whack, whack, whack" gets old after a while.
