Over at the World Spanking True Accounts forum there is a picture of the Double Viper which is actually a tawse. The lady there says it hasn't opened her skin but it brought up some nasty blood blisters (see her picture). If they are broken you will have a scar there. If you look real close at her picture she has lots of small scars from breaks. Even the cane if struck hard enough can leave a row (on either side of the cane)of tiny scars from minute breaks that don't look like much at the time. I approved Katie Spades' decision to stay away from that implement as she is acting and scarring isn't very pretty. I stand by that approval and my belief (from my own experience with narrow straps)that the viper would be a blister causer. |

Its not the toy folks, its the wielder. A toy is only as nasty as the person using it wants it to be. A cane or tawse can be fun, while a simple leather paddle can hurt like heck and leave bruises and broken capillaries. But if your worried about scarring, dont use something like the viper so hard. If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.

That's good advice. I like the intensity of the ruler strap and the cane too but we have to be careful. The viper probably has a nice nasty sting, just swing 'nicely'. |

We don't have what you would call "toys". My husband almost always uses his belt, his hand, and we have a hairbrush. Sometimes a wooden spoon. The only thing we really sort of play with is a leather flogger...and that is always soooooo nice....never painful. |

Ooh yikes! I never did quite understand the spankee's who LIKE getting cut and having scars. I mean, to each their own, but man I just can't imagine it. |

It is a "to each their own" situation. If I remember right, the spankee who posted that picture didn't seem concerned about scarring. Like Wolfie said, it's not about the toy. Almost any toy can cause damage if used in an extreme or careless manner. It's up to the people involved to decide how intense they want their spankings to be. Remember, some people can't understand us because we like spanking and they don't get that at all. Now isn't that strange? |
