Can't find where to 'log-out' on the board. |

Hi, Jayda.
At times you may not even be logged in -- generally you're not until you've posted. But if you're seeing the "Logged in as jayda" message in the upper right (under the board OTK spanking graphic) you should also see the "log in as different user" link about three lines below it. If you click that, it will ask for a user name and password, but you can just hit the back button at that point and you'll be logged out (you'll see a login box where the "logged in as jayda" message used to be).
I don't know why there isn't an obvious "log me out" button. I know this is clunky, but it works. |

I think I can change it, but I'll have to check it out thoroughly before I attempt it. That's a job for another day though. Not a good idea when I'm sleepy! LOL |

Not that it is a huge deal, but my whole first name didn't show up on my profile only the first 3 letters, just curious why. Thanks

Kelli, we set a max of 3 letters for the name field in case anyone forgot and entered their real first name. When we set up the forum we really wanted this site to be as secure for our users as a public site could be. Protecting everyone's identity was a priority for us.
Not having real names appear, no posting of email addys, ability to choose whether your location is visible, and a few other things were set up with that in mind.
I'm glad you asked. Any time you have a question feel free to ask, and either Wolfie or I will answer you. Unless it's too technical, then I'll make Dan answer.  |
