I'm new here but have been in the spanking realm for sometime. I have always been facinated with spanking since childhood. My wife and I started out as switches (one week Master Rex was in town, the next week Mistress ______ was in town.) We implemented safewords and enjoyed playing. After we had a child, we really couldn't do the Master/Mistress thing weekly (how do you explain THAT to a kid) but we still played at opportune times. During the last 5 years, I've found that my desire to be spanked was much more than that of my wifes. At the same time, her desire to be spanked dimished in lieu of administering them. This evolved into more of a Dom/sub type of thing. As of recently, I have found that I have been getting spanked not so much as play but for some sort of transgression (I'm not denying - I fully deserved them and am much more amicable after getting them). BUT I still had the use of my safe word. Very recently, I approached my wife with the idea of giving me a 'real' spanking. No safewords. I trust her completely (obviously) and she had agreed that that is what I need now and then. The first 'real' one has yet to happen but she has told me it's coming. But we need to take care of it when our daughter is out of the house. So that's it for right now. I'm glad to be here. :o) Rex |

Trust is what it is all about Rex, and since you and your wife have both been a spankee, I would think she knows where your limits are. My husband and I never have used a safe word, but we are not extremists, so it isn't an issue. Welcome and have fun exploring your spanking world.
