I've been spanked in plenty of hotels so we've had to employ several of the suggestions here. Toys that don't make much noise always seem to be the most intense ones though so that means I have to remember not to squawk too much.

I would have to bite a pillow or something to keep from yelling, I'm very vocal most of the time. I worry that the hotel staff will call the police on us.

Yup, this is my brat loop smilie.
The brat loop is one silent but serious toy in case anyone doesn't know about it. Yeah, I've chewed many a pillow thanks to the brat loop.

Katie, were you asking about the smilie? It's new but comes in several versions. I made the first one but after looking at it, I decided to make the loop less round. I'm thinking of making different implements for it. Man, I need to get out of this house!

Pink, I use different animation software depending on which computer I'm using. I used Ulead Gif Animator for that smilie.

That Brat Loop looks even worse than the Loopy Johnny, but it's much more attractive. Bethie, are the loops made of leather, or another material?
I made an implement, my first year of crafting, that consisted of the same style, but I used flat sided rubber tie downs (kinda like a bungy cord but with less give). It was just too wicked to use, but worked well for threatening.
Brat Loop. Hmmmm....another toy I have to put on my wish list!

K, the loops are made of leather and they deliver a serious stinging burn! Even when Dan uses it lightly, it still stings. It's a very ouchie toy...but we love it. 
Your toy sounds pretty intense! Have you seen those paddles made of recycled tires? |

Yep...got the tires already.
For those folks unable to spend tons of money on expensive toys (although I thought the Brat Loop was MORE than reasonable, especially with it being leather loops), there's also an alternative to wicked. 
Purchase some plastic tubing (take the length you desire, times two), in the Plumbing Dept, at the Dom Depot (or the other blue label store, which is my preferred store). I'd recommend the 1/4" thick tubing. This can then be looped, with the two ends together. Use electrical tape, or any tape, to wrap the ends, in a handle form. Cost is less than probably $2. Too make it K-Evil  , add some BB's (buckshot) to the tube, before securing the ends/handle. The buckshot makes a nice rattle in the tube, and also adds to the force.
If you use the tubing, empty...it's really enough and leaves nice little half moon welts. For the crafty person (I just don't like implements having that dark seedy, mean look all the time), you can put glitter into the tube before securing it. It's quite cute to see the glitter move around, and I use 'stars'...so the spankee and I BOTH see stars.

So how bad does the brat loop sting?? I'm new to all of these toys, and am curious to how it feels. It looks wicked!! I may have to ask hubby to order me one of those! |

We have a similar implement we made from a leather skipping rope. It looks exactly like that so probably feels the same. It stings like a son of a ----- and hurts deep down like the cane. I think that if there was a cane made of leather, that's how it'd feel. I can only take a few whacks with it then I don't wanna play any more! |

I can confess that the brat loop is one ouchie toy! My Guy says he can't do it lightly that it takes at least a little force to get it to land correctly. (Should I be believing him?)
Anyway, there is something worse than the brat loop: the rat tail. It is just like the brat loop but the ends are cut and even. For me that means that the four ends come down and the pain is focused on the that one point--much like what I would imagine a crop would feel like. Really ouchie!!!!
Can anyone tell me if the brat loop hurts as much ast he loopy johnny or are they different? The brat loop has 2 loops if I am correct and the loopy johnny only one.

I think this might be another example of how different spankos like different sensations. Or should we just blame it on the tops weilding the toys? 
I like the rat tail much more than the brat loop. There's something about the ends of the brat loop and how they land so heavily. For me, the rat tail is all sting but without the heaviness of the brat loop. I'd much rather be spanked with the rat tail! I like it...quite a lot actually.
As for the loopy johnny, we don't have one. I'm not sure I want one but I'd sure like to hear anyone's opinion on it. |

I was over at Leather Thorn Paddles looking at the rat tail paddle. Our leather pieces are just like that. My husband folds one to make a loopy or just uses it straight. I find it too intense moreso when its' straight. I have to squirm and wiggle and whine the whole time he's using it. |

The rat tail can be as much fun as it can be intense. We've only used it for fun so maybe that's why I like it. Dan's pretty experienced with implements so he can make almost any toy feel good and we've had a lot of fun with the rat tail.
In the picture, I laid it out so you could see all of the tails, but when it's being used, the tails fall much closer together. I like some sting to my spankings and the rat tail is great for that. I like leather toys but some straps land with too much thud and not much sting, this one gives a nice sting that covers just as much as a strap.
I swear it's not as mean as it looks! |
