Not sure if this topic has been brought up or not - but I am wondering if anyone knows of a real good lotion to use after a spanking...I have tried quite a few (including Hunny Bun cream), but can't seem to find one that is quite right...any suggestions?
My favorite color? pink of course

andy sometimes uses Aloe on my sore bottom after a spanking. it goes on cool and feels great to my burning butt.

Well, I can tell you what NOT to use.
Any fragranced lotion. I got a perfumed body lotion for my birthday, and used it liberally last night.
BIG MISTAKE. Perfume and a soundly spanked bottom do NOT mix. Trust me.  |

We use aloe as well but I like the stuff that comes right from the plant. we have two large plants in our house. One of my girlfriends asked why we have such a large plant and I was almost mute I coukdn't come up with a good answer William off course jump right in and told her the truth and she laughed at us. See even whe you tell the truth no one beleives you.
I do have some from Trader Joe's which is good to carry on vacation
I also use Sweet Almond oil to keep my butt soft. If I didn't after 25 years of being spanked I would have leather butt.
As for anything with a perfume in it I think that it would burn and I do't need anymore help in that area.

I use any moisturizing lotion that has aloe and vitamin E in it. Nothing fancy. Even baby oil works well right after a shower.
If I want my bum to feel really soft and smooth, I use that St. Ives apricot scrub first while in the shower. It sloughs off all the dead skin cells and lets the baby oil/moisturizer penetrate more. Your skin feels silky smooth afterwards.

oh wow....such great info!! Any specific brands of aloe lotions? I am the WORST person to grow plants so I think the real thing would be out for us (lol).
Gotta agree with the lotions that have fragrance! It was my birthday Saturday, and of course "R" did the traditional birthday spanking. Damn, its tough getting old!! - so many more spanks!! After it was over I grabbed the closest lotion to me....WRONG! Not much relief at all

We use aloe lotion and have had great results with it. And I'd really like to get a plant sometime. |

Come on grewing the plants is the easest thing I ever did. Go to a good garden center and just buy one water it once a week keep it in the sun and next thing you know you will have a wonderful plant. My plant leaves are so big that if we cut off a leaf there is enough to use twice. The leaves are really big I would say about 14 inches. What we do is just push all the gel out the bottom end and keep it in the refridge. If all else fails and plant isn't the way to go than buy a good brand (I like Trader Joe's brand but you can only get it at a Trader Joe's store) Keep it in the refridge it feels so much better.
I like sweet almond oil as well because it leaves my skin so silky and not greasey it also works go for massages

Yes, Bethie, it did sting like hell. Nothing like using fragranced lotion after being walloped lovingly spanked with a %@$# oar.

Squire LOVES that damned oar. If I have to listen to him drone on (while spanking me, no less) one more time about how comfortable it is (Hello? That's cuz YOU'RE on the wrong end), how light, what a pleasure it is to work with, blah blah blah...I'm going to do him a serious injury.
He is very fond of teaming it up with the leather hairbrush paddle from Adam and Gillian's. Great paddle, but it's lined with Delrin, so it has a solid 'thwack'.
Add a crop or two, either the CB or the VBB...and perfumed lotion is to be diligently avoided at all costs.

Aloe Vera... the spanko's rose.
Although I saw a simply gorgeous 12 tail flogger where the tails had ribbon roses or something like that once ages ago on e-bay.
...that'd be this spanko's ideal rose ^_~ Wouldn't a riding crop make a cute rose? :D I want one now!
...on a more on topic statement, they also make aloe vera with lidocaine... I discovered it after a fairly blistering--sunburn (helas that it wouldn't be a spanking ;-;). But that stuff is cooling and pain relieving, (and probably cheating as far as aftercare goes ^_~) But it's even blue! Blue screams cool. |

I bought a jar a 80% Aloe from a health food store (cause the stuff I bought from the drug store for sunburns didn't work), and it didn't work either. I've tried quite a few 'super moisturizing creams' they're all crap. The only one that works for me is Neutrogena Hand Cream in a tube. It goes a long way and is really thick. I put a nice layer on, but then I hafta wear underpants to bed. |

Really try the sweet almond oil. I knowthe Vermont Cuntry Store(you know the peoplewho sell that famous bathbrush that all us angles love so much) has some but I get it at a local underwear shop. What I do is put a little distalled water in a spray bottle with about 4 oz of the oil shake it up really good it looks foamy that's ok and every time I get out of the showder or tub I spray that on all over (feels so good after I wax a very personal area)and rub it in gently. The reason it works is that oil traps the moisture of the water in your skin. If you but any lotion on like that you will see a big improvment. I have LUpus and as a hole most Lupus patients have very dry tight skin, my skin is smooth and soft. I have been using aloe and swett alomond oil my whole life. Almond oil is a bit expensive $13 or so for 6 oz but so worth it. I have been getting spanked for the over 25 years (26 in April) and I don't have leather butt. Must be doing soemthing right.

I use Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Body Emulsion on my legs, arms, shoulders and hands. I really like it and I don't feel slimy or anything. Oil sounds oily. Yeah, I know The V. Store, we have one of those nasty brushes that 'hits the spot'! |

You kniw they really use that in thier sales catlog. Do you think they mean it in the same way we do.
I sent one to a couple and it was quite clear from the card what I meant it for the salesperson at the order cneter more or less implyied that only someone who has a bathbrush that is used for spanling would consider sending one to someone else for that reason. I wonder if they keep a database of what clients buy. HUMMMMMM

Creme de La Mer - it is the best, creamiest, and most soothing lotion ever. I use i on my face and bum everyday and I think it is simply fantstic!

wanted to check out the product you suggested... WAYYY EXPENSIVE! A 2oz jar is $195.00! I think I will try the aloe & vit E and the Apricot Scrub along with the almond oil~~~Besides, "R" would be sure to have something to say if I spent that much money

All right, Red, I tried your suggestion for the sweet almond oil, and it does feel great!
Unfortunately, it also makes me irresistable to my cats. They WILL NOT stop licking me!

One of my girlfriends who owns her own day spa the place where you can get facilas and massages etc, once told me to mix some of the alomond oil with some sea salt ad use it as a scrub in the shower. I do that at least twice a month. The sea salt washes away all the dead skin ad the almond oil maeks your skin soft and smooth. I sometimes do it with lavender oil if I ran out of almond oil. My body is smooth all over including my butt smooth and soft. I love the almond oil

I swear by Hempz Herbal creme by Supre. You can find it at Spas and Salons for 20+ or on Ebay for 10!!!
Cold Aloe gels work good too! |

Solarcaine is a great aftercare aloe based product...although SOME people have for SOME reason pooh-poohed it's use due to the fact that it also has a pain relieving component (not that it's taken away toooo much pain for me ;) )
It's also fairly inexpensive at $6-$8.
Here's a description: "Pain relieving gel with Lidocaine HCL. Instant pain relief. Cooling, moisturizing itch relief. #1 sunburn relief brand. For everyday or not so bad girl spankings, I find Kiss My Face- Olive and Aloe Lotion very soothing, healing and soft bottom making.

ooohhhh!!...I just bought KissMyFace lotion and its awesome! Also, arnica cream (just used that last night after a "stress-relief spanking)...and a lotion with sweet almond oil...mmmmmmm....not THAT is nice stuff!
