Does anyone else have spanko/kinky friends that you hang out with, but don't necessarily play with? I'm talking about people you know are kinky, not just suspect.
My wife and I are getting together tomorrow with a married couple who are both spankos that we've known for some time (A the wife, and P the husband). I used to play with A back before we were both in our current relationships and even a bit afterwards (with everyone's blessing). In fact, she's our "alibi" with the non-kink world as to how my wife and I met (long story, I'll tell it if anyone's interested).
We've played some together (the four of us), but for the most part now, our friendship is fairly vanilla (except for the conversation). Tomorrow, we're also meeting another couple who know A & P and who we know through online discussions. There hasn't been any talk of play, so it'll probably be another fairly vanilla day. I kinda like it...its nice to have people you can just hang out with and fully be yourself.
Just curious if anyone else has similar experiences.

I have some spanko friends, all of whom I've met through another spanking site.
I've never come 'out' in the vanilla world, other than to a close gay male friend. Obviously...I've never played with him, but he actually offered once when he realized that I hadn't played in over a decade. Now THAT is friendship. 
I have no spanko friends that live in Toronto, though. I chat online to my friends, but r/l meets are fun too.
Wolfie organized a meet in the fall that Squire and I went to. While I didn't get spanked by any Tops other than him, he somehow played with every woman there. Odd, considering he's vanilla. 
If we were friends with another local couple who were known spankos...I could see us playing occasionally with them. I think he'd be at least as into that as I would be. |

My husband and I have a few friends that we actually met in a spanking chat room. We don't "play". My husband and I have a real D/d life...we don't do this for play so we don't really get together with others to play. We do very much enjoy having friends with the same lifestyle. We share ideas and sometimes trade paddles....but we don't swap partners. |

I organized a munch for World Spanking Forum members in the DC area and met this really cool guy. We hang with him on occaision. We also hang with folks who show up at the leather bar or with people from our bdsm group, some of whom M has known for many years before she hooked up with me and got into spanking. Not sure what all they are into, but they probably aren't true spankos.
In general we don't play with others, but M did let a friend of hers spank me at a play party. I was happy about that. It was really low key. The friend was going for the sensual, while M was saying "oh she can take more than that! Hit her harder!!" LOL
I know many people who play with people who do not share their sexual orientation, so why not play with a gay man?

I'm good friends with Wolfie and possibly when she moves we as a group, Wolfie, me and Mr. B will become friendly with some of the people here in the area from the various clubs. Particularly the SOS Southeastern Spankers club.
That would be fun.
The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

Absolutely. My spanko friends are some of my closest friends. It wouldnt matter if they were vanilla, I'd still enjoy their company just as much....great people are great people anywhere.
Ive met quite a few of my online spanko friends now, and cant wait to meet many more.

I have lots of spanko friends. All over the states and the UK! Don't play with any of them but pretty much anybody I am friends with are spankos.
Take my heart and soul. But please don't step on it, it breaks easily.

I have yet to meet any in my area yet here. Mostly they are online but it kinda comes and goes here since my schedule is messsed up. I do Night Shifts so there's the answer to why LOL. I would like to meet more in my area here and around other parts. Most I ahve met is in the US. |

Don't really know what any of them get up to(kinky wise) and not really that bothered either.Meet,chat,help them,etc and then continue with our own lives.
If people want to share then great,but if not it does not matter.I would not think any more or less of them.
The only time I have shared or know about anybody being a spanko is on this web-site.
I do like to keep myself to myself,but hey we are all different,that's what makes us unique. |

We have several mutual lifestyle friends. In fact, we are going to the birthday party of the daughter of a lifestyle couple this afternoon. Being involved in the local BDSM scene you meet a lot of like minded kinky people. Most of them we don't play with, but they do come over for lifestyle discussion groups at my Dominant's house, and the submissives meet for coffee a couple times a month.

I'm lucky enough to be friends with a couple who run a Dungeon and Bdsm courses near to where I live and that makes it fun to meet up & chat every week or so, tho' we don't "play" together. But we had some 'nilla friends pop over on Saturday & turns out she's a spanko!!! That's one to save for the next visit - I've known them for 3/4 years now and we never talked much about sex before, then out it popped the other day!!
It's really nice to have friends you don't have to guard your tongue with, tho'. Most of my neighbours are so 'nilla, they think we're weird as it is - if only they knew.... |

I have a couple of friends from high school who know about the "spanking thing". They even bought me toys for my birthday and stuff! A really nice leather belt, bondage kit, handcuffs, stuff like that. But only my best friend knows about the domestic discipline side of things and she's totally cool with it. And lately her husband (newlyweds, awwwwwww!) has been giving her a few swats here and there. I visited them a couple of weekends ago and she told me about it and she kinda whispered "And, I think he LIKES it!!" I just cracked up laughing and said "You married a spanko! Haha!"
Who knows, maybe we'll be able to compare notes eventually? Hehe.

We've got a few friends who are spankos. But we don't 'play' together unless its a 'birthday spanking' thing.
However, our two kids (adult aged) know about our lifestyle and kink, and are totally cool with it. In fact, our youngest just loves to tease us about it.
When our oldest got married, as a joke wedding present we gave them a copy of McClintock with a fireplace shovel.
