So who loves bondage, besides me? I absolutely adore it...with sex, with spanking, or even all by itself. Steve has even tried hair bondage on me, which was very relaxing and made me feel very submissive. What do you love about bondage? Whats your favorite position? Rope or cuffs? Leather or velcro?
I love the velcro cuffs Nn gave me for impromptu bondage, their comfortable and easy to use. And they say "spank me"...just incase he forgot. 
My favorite is when he uses the leather cuffs and then ties me to the bed, planning all kinds of evil and devious things to do to me. Like tease me for hours, with a feather...*pant, gasp*

I love rope bondage quite a bit. It's heaven for me to be put into a nice intricate rope harness. I love the attention and the feeling as he slowly and lovingly winds and ties the rope around me. That's a fast way to send me into sub heaven! Mmmmm...yummy!
I also enjoy my various cuffs. I have favorites but it doesn't really matter, what gets me going is the feeling when he buckles me in. We have a great leg spreader with big comfy cuffs attached to the ends that I really like. If I've got that on and I'm bent over the side of the bed, Dan has complete access and control. That really gets me in subbie mode!
We've got alot of bondage gear and I love it all. |

I like the velcro cuffs, although we got a pair of the ones that say "spank me" and we broke them and had to exchange them! I don't know what that says about us, but...
I have this great collar that I made, too, and a flogger to go with! I love it and the fact that I made it from deer hide that my husband shot just adds to the, uh, "ambience", LOL.

I am unable to do bondage. It's psycological. (I know, that's spelled wrong)
My ex used to tie me with electrical cords when he would beat me up. I have to have my arms and legs free. I HAVE to know that I can get away if I want. And pulling or binding my hair is out of the question cos he would grab my hair and yank handfulls out.
I had 30 years of his "conditioning" to overcome when I left and got divorced. I'm still not over it all.
For those that like bondage...go for it. I am ALL for people, male or female, having the freedom to experience whatever kink or fetish they desire.
Maybe someday I might try it...just not at this time.

I must admit the idea of being tied up (or down) does create lustful feelings in me although I haven't really tried it (once a long time ago with a different partner but he tied me to the bed legs and then went downstairs for a cup of tea, and seeing as we were in my parents house at the time, it freaked me out that my Mum might come in).
Wolfie, I was going to ask you what hair bondage is and now I see the photo you've posted but I still don't get it. So, what do you do, just tie your hair up? And then what happens? Is it a psychological feeling of being grabbed by the hair but with the added advantage of him still having both hands free to do other things or is there more to it than that?
Shylah, I'm very, very sorry that you had to go through something like that, not purely because it has closed off an avenue that you might otherwise enjoy but because it happened anyway.

Unfortunately, Steve knows more about the psychological aspects of hair bondage than I do. But I did feel extremely submissive as he was binding my hair (also sleepy, because it really relaxed me) and I love being in sub mode. You can see the ring at the end, which can be used to tie you to a corner, a rope harness or in other ways. He can grab it if he wants to position you in a certain way or secure you so you can barely move. I really enjoyed it a lot. 
Think I could make money with that Fanny?

I have always wanted to try bondage more erotic so probably more light bondage, but you never know I am up for anything.
We have looked at a few sites to make some purchases, then I get overwelmed with what to buy and then my inner child must come in, because then I am like We need one of this one of that and that...etc.
Does anyone have a favorite site they use or what would you reccomend for newbies? Sorry if I should have posted this as a separate thread, if need be I can do that.

Oh My...
Mister 3 weeks ago met me first at Starbucks...as we were chatting he pulled a pair of VERY professional handcuffs out of his (tweed with leather elbow patches) blazer. I was at a loss for words..something that doesn't happen to me much.

Well, speaking of "other kinks" one of ours is takedowns (rape scenes/resistant sex/forced scenes). Well, the first night we got those cuffs, we were doing one and I was really fighting and he had those on my ankles and I managed to pull hard enough to seperate about two inches of the seam on one of the velcro strips.
So we took them back and got a pair like the ones that were on my wrists. I was really, REALLY thrashing around and it might have just been a freak defect in that particular pair. The other problem was that they were almost too short to go around my ankles and any cuffs we use have to be able to do both.

we have leather cuffs and collars including a spreader bar. in between spankngs I can have my wrists and ankles cuffed, made to stand in corner, with a ball gag in place.
we have a walk in closet that we are thinking of making into a mini bondage room. I love the feeling of him having total control over me. |

I just realized I should have mentioned my cuffs were all the leather kind. We don't have any of the plain metal handcuffs.
Now that I think about it though, I used to have some when I was younger. But they were mainly for show and they looked good hooked on my belt loops instead of a belt. Hey, it was the 80's and I was a young brat, what can I say?  |

Being married to a police officer we have the real metal handcuffs but don't like them. I thought hat when he retired he ahd to give them back but no there are still here. I do have an love my leather collar and cuffs. For everyday I ahve a beautiful white and yellow gold twist solid ring that goes around my neck but that's for outside our house. As comfortable as I am in the metal one I love the leather one more. It makes me feel so protected and cared for. Ooooo, I love that feeling too Red! My collar is my security blanket, it reassures me of our love for each other. Even though he's not here, I can hold the collar or put it on and feel safe and cared for. 
So it seems that most of us love our leather cuffs. What is your favorite position for doing bondage? Or what new position would you like to try?

My husband likes to do sort of a modified hogtie for spankings. He has me lay on the couch and cuffs my hands and feet together with the neoprene and velcro cuffs. Then he runs a rope from my hands, under the couch, to my feet and pulls it tight. It's loose enough so that he can put up to three pillows under me if he wants more of me exposed, as it were, but not loose enough that I can turn away or squirm with any real effect.
We don't do this too much because it plays havoc with my back and hips but it is fun when we do. He usually saves it for the really severe whippings when he knows I will need some control imposed on me. So when I get tied like that, I know something special is coming, LOL.
Here's a question for you (and if this should be another thread, feel free to put it there, or I can): If you do bondage with spanking, do you do bondage with punishment, too, or just with play? This is obviously for those of you who do DD and combine bondage with spanking.

Otter, we've never done bondage with discipline. Maybe because Steve likes to show his control over me by telling me to hold a position during punishment. And with minor discipline he prefers to hold me still...and I love the intimacy and closeness of that.
But bondage and real discipline...Im not sure how I'd feel about that.

We don't do OTK for punishment or otherwise. Laying on the bed or couch is hard enough on my back and hips, the couple times that I have gone OTK, I had to stay in one very specific position or it was really painful.

We have tried many bondage postions I perfer having my legs spread wide and my hands secured either above my head or to my collar Bill does spank me like that but it's more of a play spanking those wonderful gg spankings a little leather and a paddle or two or perhaps a crop adn I am a heap of jello shaken all around just waiting go to be allowed to cum. Bondage while otk...cuffs on wrists and ankles, hands cuffed in front so you cant reach back. Ankles connected together and to the wrists, so you cant kick either.

when we do bondage stuff it tends to be quite lighthearted and we end up giggling...
i have been spanked lots of times with my ankles tied to either leg of his desk so my legs are spread and i can't kick, wrists tied behind my back...it ends up being funny because our house is freezing and he is kind, so often i'm naked except he lets me have my big pink duvet wrapped round me from the waist up...so i must look like a giant pink marshmallow with a red butt! 
or if it is a hard spanking i tend to jerk upright, lose my balance cos i can't move my feet, and fall over backwards! he catches me...and seems to enjoy playing with/tormenting me in the new position... |

We've done some. We have a Mission style bed, so it works quite well (lots of "attachment" points). We have a set of leather wrist and ankle cuffs and I made up a series of ropes of different lenghts with metal rings on the end. I prefer to have at least one end (usually to the cuff) attached with a metal snap clip instead of tied for safety reasons.
We also have a set of handcuffs, but we don't play with those often. Given that I get police and fire catalogs all the time, these are the real deal.

I would be glad to Red, but as you can see from the picture above it may be easier to learn by watching another do it. Maybe getting a length of soft cord and looping a ring in the end, then braiding it into the hair and tying it off would work? Then Bill could use the ring to tie you with, or to confine you if he wants.

I adore being blindfolded it concentrates all your sensations when you can't see what's coming. Heightens the intensity, but so can bondage. I prefer velcro cuffs to rope or steel...haven't tried leather but would like to. To me bondage adds to the illusion. I don't do DD, I am more into role play games. The main focus is the spanking not being tied up.

I think all of are to certain extent. I really love being tied with stockings and feeling completely helpless.

Bill has blindfolded me many times and when were we do what I call ourr submissive weeke nds I am usually blindfolded for most of it. That combined with being restrainted with collar and cuffs and maybe a spreader bar and some spanking and you have the makeings for a wonderful week end

A spreader bar is just that Butterfly...a bar meant to spread your limbs. It can be metal or pvc, adjustable or not, have cuffs already attached or places where they can be clipped to. They can be used to keep your hands from getting in the way, your feet apart or your knees spread...the possibilities are endless!

I love anything that means I lose control and don't have to think. One of the main reasons W ties me up is to calm me down. When my hormones are raging or I'm lost and don't know which way to turn he ties me up, does his stuff and usually I feel better. It might take a while and a lot of 'this is really not what I want and I have so much to do' but in the end I come down.
We are so DIY tho' most things come out of the garden shed. We have mainly rope at the minute,W is pretty good with knots but they still rub sometimes. I sometimes think he's more intrested in how good a knot he's tied than who he's tied.
I love sleeping with my hands and feet tied. It amazes me that what once seeemd- OMG your not going to do that, now seems so normal and why doesn't everyone sleep tied every night.

Well in our house we have "the room" (pure evil and will not go in there for any reason unless told to) in there we have all sorts of bondage stuff including air cuffs, a bench and a few other pieces of furniture that are used for bondage.
As for cuffs i prefer our pink fuzzy ones personally but if we are scening or playing hard he will use the police cuffs or the leather ones.
I have done hair bondage too but only 3 or 4 times just cause i love my hair too much and so does Kevin.
Blindfolds are amazing things. You have to love not knowing what your Sir is picking up to use on you next before it touches you. |

My girlfriend & I , we like everything what is made of leather. When she orders me to lay down on the punishment bench, she ties my hands with leather cuffs on my back. Then she uses the leather straps to tie me to the bench. I like to be tied tightly because I can't move and I can hold as many belts as she wants to give me. Myself I love the idea, but sadly have very little to no experiance in it...well some but really very little. Was married my EX was so vinnila that it not funny so old school and old fashioned that sex...hell it was boring. Maybe that is way I have no interest in it, if that is what it like...hell I am not missing anything.
But ya, would love to have mild bondage no hand cuffs just soft but strong leather or rubber wrist and ankle cuffs and just would love to tie someone up and play with them to the point they have a orgasm...but without having sex to get there. I like being handcuffed with my hands secured in front of me. Not only does this give my girlfriend easy access to my naughty butt (unlike being handcuffed with my hands behind), but it allows her to slap my palms harshly (with her hand or with a flogger) while I watch. I also like being spanked while lying face-down on a bed with one of my wrists handcuffed to the bed frame.
She also likes handcuffing one of my wrists to one of her so that she could lead me around the apartment like a prisoner.
And my girlfriend is now considering buying leg irons to keep me well-restrained and under her guard...
The main advantage of ropes IMHO is their versatility - the same rope could be used to tie the hands (with another binding the legs), as a leash or as a way to tie the handcuffs' chain to an object (such as the shower stalk). A long enough rope could be used to tie my hands and leave part of the rope outside the knot so that she could pull me along with it. |

I use some velcro bands for restraints. That's about the extent of bondage for us. The restraints are to hold her 'in place' for punishment or holding her in some position or other for 'humilitation.'
My favorite position is for her to go to her knees, put her chest on the carpet/floor, bind her hands behind her, hand to elbow, knees and ankles bound. This position turns us both on immensely. Sometimes, after or before the spanking, I leave her like that, with a gag in her mouth, what I call her 'popsicle,' a large penis-shaped gag that she can suck on. Finally, I add nipple clamps, not the brutal kind, just a little nip. She has plenty of 'squirm' room but can't get away. |

M introduced me to bondage early on in our marriage. Being a resourceful soul, he made quite a few of our toys. There's a spanking bench that traps you in the hands and knees position with your legs spread. It props you just high enough off the ground to be perfectly position for, yes, spankings, but leaves absolutely everything available for, er...other things.
Back in the first year we were married, the first one he made was like a saw horse, but padded across the top and with eye hooks down all four legs to tie the limbs. We had it out in the living room (but with me not in it, thank God) when his parents showed up unexpectedly. They thought it was an ironing board, or at least that's what they said.
My favorite piece was a collar I ordered years ago for a B&D party I was going to when I visited England. It arrived literally as I was pulling out of the driveway to go to the airport and was stolen (along with all my clothes) my second day in England. I never got to wear it. Sniff. |

Does anyone have any good ideas for bondage positions for someone with limited joint movement? There's too few positions I can handle for any length of time, and I love bondage.

Hi, hon, good to see you! 
I have a few suggestions for limited movement bondage. For me, bondage is about the feeling of giving myself over to him and being in his hands completely. But I'm not a limber twenty-something anymore and I now have arthritic knees so I can't get into all those lovely bondage positions. And the ones I can get into are only comfortable for short periods of time.
What we've done is go in another direction. We tend to use lots of cuffs with easy to attach clips so I can have my wrists or ankles clipped together in different positions. Just having my wrists cuffed and clipped together in front of me so I can't put my hands back during a spanking can get me in the right frame of mind really quickly.
We also use a spreader bar which is excellent in many ways. A favorite position of mine is to be face down over a pile of pillows on the bed with my wrists cuffed and out in front of me, and my ankles attached to the spreader bar. It's easy and doesn't stress any joints. I could lay there forever and be spanked in that position. The spreader bar keeps me from putting my legs together and that's fun all in itself.
Another thing I love is simple rope bondage! You don't have to get into the complicated positions if you don't want to. There are ways to make a simple chest harness or corset that will make you feel nice and all bound up.
Have you checked out TwistedMonk.com? Monk is awesome! Dan bought my lovely pink rope and wonderful ball end ass hook. Yeah, that's right, a ball end ass hook. I love it!

Thanks Bethie, I will certainly try his website and look up those videos. I cant even imagine what a "ball end ass hook" looks like!
I do wear my cuffs a lot, they make me feel very submissive and are easy to hook together. And rope bondage is fun, especially hair bondage and incorporating that into other scenes. I love to feel vulnerable, but most wide open positions are too painful after 10-15 minutes or so. I think I need a set of thigh cuffs...that might help without causing too much stress on my joints.

Thigh cuffs are good toys to have handy. I like to have them hooked to my wrist cuffs. I also have some thigh restraints that aren't cuffs. They're made like the hobbles that are used on horses, if you're familiar with those. |

Yes, I know what hobbles are and how they work for horses. Are you talking about 2 legged or 3? Are they used like regular cuffs?
Ive thought about being on my stomach, hands cuffed before me and attached to a headboard. Theres a tie that goes from each ankle cuff to either a thigh cuff or d-ring on a bondage belt, then the tie continues forward to the sides of the bed. There wouldnt be any pressure on my ankles unless I tried to close my legs. I think I could hold this position for quite a while, what do you think?

Wofie, about the hobbles, I'm talking about the 2 legged kind. The straps buckle into place around your arms, wrists, ankles, or thighs and leaves a short length between them, depending on where you use them of course. I'm not going to go digging around in our toy chest right now so I can't take a pic of mine. JT's Stockroom carries them though. Here's one image I have of a hobble belt like ours.
I think if you can find a position you're comfortable in then you're good to go. You'll just have to get the right equipment and give it a try! Even if it doesn't quite work out, I always have fun giving new ideas a try. Even if I do end up trussed up like the Thanksgiving turkey, it's an adventure just getting there.  |

re two of the posts above, you can combine hair bondage with an ass hook by tying them together.
in this position if i move my head the hook rubs my private parts and the ball moves inside my bum.
you have to get the length of the rope just right, as you can imagime.
if not either the sub can't hold the position for long or there isn't enough tension to produce the sensations in the naughty bits.
i'm usually put in this position before punishment as an altermative to corner time, which is more reflective. another big difference is you can be left alone during corner time.
