THE CLOTHES BRUSH INCIDENT One nice Saturday, we went to a boot sale here in England. (that's like a flea market in the states). On one of the stalls, there was a nice looking wooden clothes brush made from mahogany. It came with a very nice frame that hung on the wall. I remarked in a joking...get that?....JOKING way that it looked like an interesting thing to use. I winked at him and then wandered along looking at the other stalls. He comes walking up with a bag. He BOUGHT the damn thing! The next day, I notice that it has been hung up on the wardrobe on his side of the bed. But not for long. I took it down and hid it. It took almost a week before he comes downstairs and sits in his chair. I am relaxing on the sofa with my cross stitch waiting for the next load of laundry to be ready. “Got something to tell me?” he asks. “Like what?” I reply, putting on my best innocent expression. “I think you know very well what.” he says. “Sorry fella but I have no idea what you are talking about.” “Where is it?” “Where is what?” He sighs and give me THE LOOK. “Where is it?” he asks again. I sit up and look back with my LOOK. “What the hell are you talking about?!?!” I demand. “I seem to be missing a mahogany clothes brush.” he says. “And what does that have to do with me?” I ask. “I think you have hidden it.” he says. “Why would I do that? I haven't done anything to deserve you using it on me. Why did you look for it to begin with? And considering you have a bad habit of putting things someplace and then forgetting where you put them, I think it's damn unfair of you to blame me if you can't find it.” He's buying it! I see from the expression in his face that I might just have a point! “OK,” I say, “Think. That day you got some stuff for your workshop. Did you take it in there and leave it?” “I might have but why is the hook still there that it was hung on?” The hook! Dammit...I forgot to take that down as well! Shit! Very calmly I reply, “I don't know. You do things all the time and halfway through them you go off on something else and forget what you were doing to begin with.” “Yes, that's true.” he says. Good save! I tell myself. Mental pat on the back. “I'm going to go look in the workshop then.” he says. He gets up and wanders off to the back yard. I jump up and dash upstairs, take the brush out of it's hiding place, I sneak into his “secret hiding place” where he keeps a key for the drawer that has his implements, paddles, belts, magazines...stuff like that...and unlock it...put the brush in, lock it back and put the key in it's place again (I'm really not supposed to know that “special hiding place btw) just in time for him to come upstairs. I quickly grab a basket of socks and underwear and head for the stairs. We meet at the top. “It's not in there.” he says. “Well I'm sure you'll run across it in due time when you're looking for something else.” I say. I head downstairs to put the next load of laundry in and fold the dry ones. “AHA!!!” I hear. “Aha what?” I ask. “Found it!” “And where was it?” “In my drawer. Funny though. I don't remember putting it in there.” he says. I shrug. “Well since I can't get into it, I can't very well be guilty then can I?” I ask him. I'm putting on a very indignant pose. Acting so very UNJUSTLY accused! I should get the Spanking Oscar for this performance! I put my nose in the air and proceed to go upstairs with the folded clothes in one arm and ones to be ironed in the other. I put them on the bed and turn to find him standing right behind me! “Move ya old fart! I'm trying to be domestic here! You're in the way.” Now, this “old fart” is 68 years old and quite fit. Before I can say “Oh Shit” I'm OTK and he is baring my bottom! “Hey!!!!! What the hell are you doing???” “I'm waiting for a confession.” “Confession for what?” Dammit...and it was going SO well I thought! “I'm not buying your innocence. I'm waiting for a confession.” WACKKK!! WACKKK!! “OWWWWW!” I yell. A few more wacks with that mahogany and I'm confessing to sins I plan to commit in the future! He stops and puts the brush aside and continues with his hand for a dozen more. “Now then, Young Lady, you will NOT touch that brush again OR my key which I plan to put in a more secure place.” I stand up, rubbing and doing the spanky dance. “Geezzo!! Can't ya take a joke???” “Geezo, can't you take a little spanking?” “LITTLE???” He stands up and walks out the bedroom and I adjust my pants. I pick up the folded clothes and was about to start putting them away when.... SMACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I jump...all my neatly folded clothes fly across the room. I turn to see his smiling face. “Just a little reminder, Darling.” he says. Oh fine. Reminder huh? I'll find that damn key and get a copy made. FIRST CHANCE I GET!! Just see if I don't!!!!! Take my heart and soul. But please don't step on it, it breaks easily.

He isn't as devious as me to plant a false key. Doubt if he even thought of it. I'm the wicked one in this house. MUWAHAHAHAHA!!! Take my heart and soul. But please don't step on it, it breaks easily.
