alt.com has been ALMOST a total turnoff. After deleting too many obscene posts ( and pictures ) I AM corresponding with a GENTLEMAN who seems extremely copasetic(sp)with my tastes for more than vanilla but less than 24/7
dominance. In chatting with him both with IM and tonite by phone we seem to be on the same level of exploration. We will meet a week from Friday for lunch..and..we'll see.
In the meantime I have FINALLY gotten some multisyllabic responses from the the man who so wonderfully blindfolded me 4 weeks ago, Yes, he has had radical prostate surgery and cannot
-perform- in that way but where he took me with paddle, cane and mouth was excrutiatingly lovely!
He is very much into the -scene- and now that I am a member of BR (wink Victoria) I have requested a dungeon date to The Crucible.
Most of my life is behind me and I REFUSE to live what is left as vanilla. I go with an open mind and heart.
Again all, thanks, I have been scarce posting but here.
It's been just a little over a year since 'ex' left and I'm finding my stride!!!

Hang in there, Changeling! I'm glad you're moving out into life, that's great and I wish you the best of luck. 
Since you've been through this before, I guess you already know about all the safety precautions. But I still have to say it, be safe, take precautions, have a safety net, and listen to your instincts!

Changeling, I can share your understanding of the quality of responses you get. I went through that about 15 years ago when I posted a personal ad in a local newspaper. Some of the responses were written in crayon on lined paper torn from a notebook. My advice is to take your time and separate the wheat from the chaff as it were. There's one out there somewhere. Keep us posted on how things progress. |

Changeling, you just have to work your way thru the losers, I always took my gf with me when I met a guy for the first time and the first guy I met almost turned me off for ever, he was nothing like what he said he was and I don't think he had a shower in a week and he smelled awful.
I met my husband thru a computer dating service and I liked him from day one, best of luck

Changeling have you considered a regular chat group like for example on the undernet is a 40 or 50+ group. They are usually wonderful ppl and if you mention to man in a pm that you are into spanking I am sure most of them would be glad to oblige you It has been my experience that most men are willing to try almost anything new. Both my former husband and my new husband are excellent tops and they were vanillas to start with. I agree with you that Alt.com is a bit tough... I would stay clear of most of them.. IMHO.

you can find the undernet on MIRC. Download MIRC for free and then when you log on you will have choices of nets. Many of them are good. I have been on the undernet for yrs as a channel ops. I have met many ppl in real life and at parties. I find as long as you stick to your age group the ppl are honest. You will only meet an occassional liar ... I have had lots of fun with ppl from the undernet visiting me and chat parties, etc. I have had LOADS of fun "hot chats" and many good experiences. I met all walks of life with all kinds of desires. Mostly, I met a lot of men who just wanted a kind ear to listen to them. Also, when I fled from domestic abuse, I had a female IRC friend from the undernet snail mail 200 dollars to me and my sons to get by with out me even asking. Like the den, great ppl who care a lot... email me if you would like to chat more about it.

yes you can do a search. I am off to a training but when I return, I will download irc and give you a tutorial. You will love the chat groups, sometimes they even have a "spanking" room chat. Caution: I went into the bdsm room once. THe man I chatted with was very nice and he helped me to visualize what he was into.... LOL.. NO THANKS... not for me I replied.. but as I said earlier, most of the ppl are honest and willing to help.

Changeling, I completelt agree with you on refusing to live a vanilla life. I am 48, and if not now, when. Keep looking. Try one of the spanking chats like SIN (spanking Internet). Keep trying
