The only wax play I did is when I decided it would be fun to let my bf of the time to wax and remove all my pubic hair ===:0 YIKES.. was NOT fun. The end result was cool but the ends did NOT justify the means.. hurt like heck. A woman`s heart may be filled with an ocean of secrets but mine have all been released and I have a sore bottom to prove it!

ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I need a few more erms than Shyla as the answer is- a bit, a long while ago and very lightly so I can't remember much !!!!!!. It sort of hurt a bit but like spanking the instant it hit, it stings but then you get the warm glow and then it's gone . Also like spanking be careful where it's dropped cos one wrong splash and that's a killer. Also on a practical note remember wax is messy !! ladygator: eeek I imagine it was a lot less painful than what you describe. That whole area hot waxed ouch. I've wanted to try wax play for some time now but gf is leery of it. FYI, I've read that you should only use plain paraffin because candle wax that contains glitter, etc., stays too hot on the skin for too long. So I went to the hardware store and bought some plain candles but haven't been able to use them yet.... Someday.... OK wax play hints here ..ONLY use SOFT wax candles ..the wax melts FAST but DOES NOT KEEP HEAT .... its SMARTER if skin is damp ...less burn prospects ... .and yes USE A BATH CURTIAN to protect sheets ... ....let candles burn for a while to get a pool of wax ..or the wax will be TOO hot ....have ice handy too (extra sensation) and a DULL knife(as in barely cuts butter) OR popisical stick to help remove the wax from skin ...gential scraping is a tease too but most of all be CAREFUL A HOT RED butt is the sign of LOVE and trust

yeah, I was looking at soy wax. It has a very low melting point (120*F) and so I think it would be good. Also, it cleans up with soap and water and it's not a petroleum product like paraffin is. I just love wax and I love kink so I thought, why *not* combine the two? Plus I've been pouring candles in the past two weeks and, naturally, poured some on myself, LOL. That got my little brain going, of course... I have proposed this to my hubby but hasn't happened yet. I think I might just have to pour the candles and put them in the toy box and see what goes down, ya know? "Sometimes love don't feel like it should." -John Cougar

I love wax! Too bad it is too messy to play with as much we'd like. My husband found a great idea online... he bought us a paraffin bath (like that used for for manicures/pedicures) which allows us to have a nice quantity of melted wax and also provides a measure of control over the wax temperature. He uses a turkey baster as the "wax delivery system." Heh. Such a geek. |

those parrifin baths are WONDERFUL ....BUT ...never EVER let th wax get less then 80% full ...not sure if they now include it in books ..BUT when I went to school .if the wax got too low the back blistered ..ohhh yeah you could also get a lil wax warmer ..one that you use for *hot wax* like the kind you wax your hair off with but use the parrifin wax in it ..keep rather full ..and its smaller and does not take 45 mins to 2 hours to melt the wax clump... and that wax just ...peels off like a glove if you stick hand in and wait ten minutes. THOUGH its not as intense as the other wax dripping from candle ..as thats hotter coming from the fire source. STILL use a cheap cloth shower curtian ..then WHO CARES how messy it gets...(good for food play too) A HOT RED butt is the sign of LOVE and trust

I'm the voice of experience? My years must be showing. I've played with wax before but it's been quite *ahem* some time. I remember it was exciting and made for serious sensation play, but the details escape me. I guess that means we did it right because I have only good impressions about it. But then I was in my early twenties and pretty darn crazy to be honest with y'all. I'd like to try it again with Dan but I haven't had a chance to bring it up. I'm sure he'd be interested since he's even kinkier than me (believe it or not). Thanks for the tips Blistering_blonde! I may put them to good use sometime soon. |

I know I posted to this thread already, but my post is not there. I love wax play and find that it doesn't hurt very much, nothing like spanking. And it's fun to have the dry wax removed with a knife ... I once let this guy do it with a giant hunting knife. At the parties I go to, they have a crock pot and a waxing table. I once waxed someone while my Top watched. Cheers, Victoria

No, I think they put the crock pot on a low setting and of course they use wax that has a low melting point. Yes, the large hunting knife was very scarey. I was laying on a table under the stars. He also threw a ladle on wax at me and it got me in the face, which I'm sure was a mistake. Afterwards the three of us got in the hot tub. It was a nice session over all. Cheers, Victoria

Forgive me, please, I'm about to go off topic for a moment. Victoria (and anyone else who's had this problem), I'm not sure what happened to your post but you're not the only who's had that problem recently. Please remember that after you've posted to a thread, the thread will be the next page you see so scroll down and make sure you've successfully posted. When I'm doing site maintenance I often regenerate the board and if you post during that time, that might cause your post to get sucked up into oblivion. Thanks! Okay, back to the subject... Blistering_blonde, there's no way in this world Dan would let me do that to him! I know how it feels and it wouldn't be a sensation he'd appreciate. Now me, I like a little (?) pain in my play and I'm a greedy receiver so it just sounds like fun to me! (Message edited by bethie on June 01, 2006) |

The times I played with wax, it was a sudden concentrated heat that was fairly intense that was followed by a nice warm glow. But I *like* that kind of thing. A little pain mixed with pleasure is just the way I like it! Dan...not so much! Also, someone spanked the wax right off my butt, or at least I thought he did. I didn't know I needed cheese cloth, too. Thanks for the tip! |

ONLY use the cheese cloth if your using the wax for ... well a mask on your back or rear ..or even chest ..it helps in the larger wax removal ..would kinda ruin the fun of spanking it off if you could just peel it off A HOT RED butt is the sign of LOVE and trust

no wax play for Jake and I. I have never tried and I don't know if he has. I don't think so but I'm not sure and I don't want to ask because then he might want to try that to add to discipline after a spanking, like when he first learned by reading about "wet spanking" and how it hurt more; then suddenly I was getting wet spankings when extra naughty, so I'll just keep this thread in the memory bank, LOL. Okay, you guys have convinced me. Next time I am at the candle supply shop, I'm getting the wax and pouring some body candles. If I put them in the toy box, eventually he will use them. He won't be able to resist. He is too much of a sadist not to explore any avenue of pain infliction on me. Especially if it is right there staring him in the face, LOL. Just make sure to get the kind that don't burn at a super hot temperature or have added elements that might cause irritation. And do let us know how it all turns out. :>) Cheers, Victoria

I think you might have gotten that backwards, Kennysspankee. From what I've learned, beeswax has a much higher melting point (about 145 degrees) as opposed to softer waxes like paraffin based candles. And remember to avoid candles with additives like scent or color as they may irritate the skin. I admit I just started checking this out but I think you want to keep the temperature of the wax around 120 degrees. It has to do with how the wax sticks to the skin. A temperature that could scald you if you're using something like water that rolls off your skin, might result in a serious burn if you use wax because it sits there and retains the heat. I think I'll research this more over the weekend and get back to y'all. Unless there's someone out there who knows for sure? |

Yeah, NOT beeswax. I pour beeswax candles, etc. and it will burn the delicate parts. It doesn't begin to melt until at least 145* and the wax pool may be much higher than that (210* +! )It doesn't burn my hands but they are calloused redneck mom hands. It definitely burned when I splashed it on my belly and that was with air time to cool it! o* "Sometimes love don't feel like it should." -John Cougar

Bethie: said The times I played with wax, it was a sudden concentrated heat that was fairly intense that was followed by a nice warm glow. I concur (and that sounds like a missile launch scenario sorry). As Bethie loves her nipples played with and hurt I bet she would love to have candle wax dripped over her nipples…… And I bet her bottom and thighs… Does anyone know where you can get low melting or high melting point wax from? And Victoria what is wrong with Beeswax? |
