I appreciate the fact that you may have helped run boards before, but keep in mind that this is
Bethie's site and her rules are what goes. Until Bethie gives the green light for anyone to have administative abilites, I think it is better not to make assumptions.

How did I overstep a rule?
He asked for help ...and once I knew what excat area he wanted help in ...I provided it ..in a EMAIL.
It was not stepping into administative area as it was just technical, and basic stuff you are able to do on your profile...it was how do you make your signature colored ...and he nearly had it ..if not for the want of a lil shift button.
which is easy to miss
I never would of replied about my past knowledge of running boards if Tammy had not questioned my ability.
And no one else could help...or even replied, which left him hanging from Sat till Tues.
it was asked in the correct area and ONLY involved computer know how.

I believe the point I am attempting to make is that certain people have a problem following protocal. I was simply responding to the statement that you have helped run other boards, that has nothing to do with what is written here.

I'm back online so I thought I'd better handle this now. I don't like answers to this type of question handled in PM's because others might like to know the answer as well. So to all who are interested, there's an easy answer.
At the top of the pages here you'll find buttons, click on the "Help" button. On that page you'll find all the help you'll need with simple instructions and examples. If you go the the section on "formatting" you'll find what you're looking for to format the way characters appear.
Good luck and ask if you have any more questions.
