Nick asked this in another thread, and it's worth it's own.
Whether you are Spanker or Spankee, do you prefer the expected or unexpected spankings? Why?
me? I would prefer to anticipate what's coming all-day-long since ours are more foreplay "you bad bad girl" paddlings and not discipline spankings. It's the anticipation that gets me hot. I like that, it makes the sex better for me.

I vote for anticipation. Love the planning, plotting and preparation. Unexpected is fun too though but.....I'm greedy makes the whole thing last soooooo much longer.

hard to choose, I like both, but I like it when he surprises me, and it's his idea rather than my dropping a hint or having to wait, either way it gets my motor running...

I love the anticipation of whats coming later...
I love it when she calls me to the carpet (so to speak) and get it right then and there!

I think I like a spanking that I've had to wait for and think about.It adds a certain edge to it.
There and then is great it's just over a bit quick,for me,'cos anticipation is what can heighten the pleasure. |

It depends on the situation. The waiting and knowing can be an incredible experience sometimes,but on the other hand the only time I have ever been able to cry and get rid of all my emotional build-up was when he grabbed me up unexpected in the middle of a hissy-fit. That experience was also incredible. So for me, I would say I want and need both to be happy. |

That particular time it was purely emotional....
but! at that time I had kept alot of junk bottled up inside me for over a year so the relief was so much like the mountain of build-up and release that I experience when I am having an orgasam (that even though I did not have one) it makes it kind of hard to explain. I guess you could call it an emotional orgasam if you wanted.
Although it did help to make the sex sooooo much
better later that night. Probably because I was relaxed enough to really enjoy it and get into it.
I am sorry if this doesn't make sense to anyone. I experience both spanking and sex on so many different levels...physical,emotional,mental,and I guess even spiritual, that sometimes it is hard to separate it all out and explain it in a short and sweet way. But I will try to do better. |

Although I am still waiting for my first "real" spanking, I think expected. I would love the anticipation and wondering when it would be coming after he got home.  It would give me butterflies all day!

I prefer to know what is going to happen to me in a discipline context. I can wrap my mind around it better and handle it better. I love unexpected for fun and also a couple of times when I was out of control. It was a real rush to be grabbed, upended and spanked fast and furious. It hurt, but wow what a mind blower. |

Unexpected ones give me more butterflies in my stomach.
However, I feel more disciplined if I realize it is coming, know it can't be stopped, and have to think about it for a few minutes while she decides which paddle is most suited to the infraction and how much my bottom should be exposed during it.

Hmmm...both! I love the anticipation of a planned, or whispered threat but I also love it when the opportunity arises and he snags it. (Our son went to a friends house for two hours the other night. As soon as our son was out the front door, hubby walked up to the sofa, took my book out of my hands, took my hand and led me to the bedroom. I had no idea what he had in mind until I saw the pillows in the center of the bed and he began to remove my pants! Now...who wouldn't love that?
