Dear Spanking Den people. I am, what you may call, a lurker. I have published a couple of stories here and was very well received. Thank you so much for that. The reason that I am mostly lurking is that I have very little to say when it comes to implements and real life spankings and such. The truth is that I am happily married with someone who is not into this and it is not likely there will be any real life spankings here. Still I have these fantasies and some very wild ones at that. I am not sure I will ever realise any of it but still I enjoy sharing thoughts and fantasies. Is this cheating? Are there anyone else like me or am I alone in this? How do you brave people who live some of your dreams look at this?

No way is that cheating. If it was I would be in trouble everytime a Toby Keith video came on the country music channel!

i also didn't think my hubby was into it....i talked to him and now i get at least one spanking a day!! so don't give up.

have you written your hubby a letter, telling of your basic fantacy ? 
My wife had no clue until she stumbled on to one of my fantacy spanking stories, I had written just to at least verbalize my fantacy.
I didn't know she had found it until she declared that she sometimes would like to beat my butt...and I would be spanked for some thing She found offensive in me. That was the way the fantacy spanking started in the letter.
She then did the spanking exactly like described, to the 'letter' of the law !
It was SUREAL to say the least.
If your hubby is trying to meet your needs in the relationship....who knows ?   Good luck ! (and keep us informed)

My very special one has read my blog and knows quite well but doesn't share and maybe I, too, think that it would not be the same in reality. I like it as a fantasy and at the moment that is enough.

Janice, as long as your husband is aware of what you're doing, I don't see how you could consider it cheating. Maybe being married to a non-spanko means you have to live out your spanko side through fantasy and writing. It's a good way to express that part of you without endangering your relationship and since you say you're happily married, then it must be working for you.
The only suggestion I have is that you keep your husband aware of what you're doing. Sometimes it can be really hard for non-spankos to understand how important to us these spanking desires are. Often they don't understand how deeply seated the desire is and that's why it's important to keep your husband aware of your continued spanking related activities and interest.
You can always talk to us here, you're not alone in this. There are quite a few people who fell in love with non-spankos and haven't found a way to work spanking into their relationship. It just doesn't work for some people. That's not to say things can't change though; never completely close the door, you might be surprised someday.
This site isn't just for active spankos, it's for everyone who is interested in the subject of spanking. |

Bethie, I think your advice is good although my use of cheating referred to how you good people felt about having a non practising spanko in your midst. I feel more welcome now and I will try to contribute to the discussions even if my input will be more theoretical than out of real life experience.
What lives in my head is far more interesting than what happens in real life.

Janice, sorry for the misunderstanding!
Like I said, this site is for everyone into spanking, whether in real life or fantasy. Your fantasies are part of who you are, and therefore important, so don't be worried you'll be dismissed because you aren't able to live them out. You don't have to live it to have those special spanky feelings.
Also, as you noticed, we always appreciate a good spanking story around here. 
I really appreciate the fact that you're so open and honest with us. That's a brave act and I'm sure there are others reading who are in the same position as you and will appreciate hearing your thoughts as well. Maybe they'll be inspired to join us as well.

Thank you all for your kind word. I feel more confident now. I have never doubted that you are a friendly lot but it still felt a bit awkward not being able to speak out of experience. I am happy that you still appreciate my input and my stories even if they are conjured up inside the mind of a dreamer.
