I am a spankee, not a spanker, and I would like to applaud you for being open and willing to try this with her.
My two pieces of advice?
1)The most important thing, as you will read over and over again on various pages, is communication. Find out from her what kind of spankings she wants: purely erotic, punishment, full D/S, or any of the other variants.
2) Have fun with it. Learn and play together. That way it will be just another thing that brings you closer.

Suggest you read the stories, fantasies, in the contest section - this will give you some idea of the kinds of spanking things that go on - at risk of oversimplification there is erotic spanking at one end - basically using the spanking interaction and sensations as part of sexuality, and disciplinary spanking at the other - a much more mind and emotion related thing. In between is a a mix of both which can vary from couple to couple and even from day to day.
As stated in other comments you will need good communications with your spankee to find out what she wants out of this (and to air what you want or don't want as well).
There are threads in the Spanking discussion area that will then apply to specific questions you may have, though don't be afraid to just ask - we spank or get spanked (or both) but don't bite too often! |

I suggest you ask her what chat rooms, stories, etc that she likes. These are the ones that will give you the best idea of what she is looking for. Look at them together and talk about what specifically she likes about each story.
She has taken a big step in telling you what she likes. I don't know her, but I know that this is a difficult thing for many women to tell their partners. The most comforting thing to her can be showing her that you are genuinely interested in learning about and fulfilling her needs. |
