OK...here's the deal....
My best friend who is like a sis to me wants us to get matching tattoos. Lil roses on our boobs. Now, my hubby has already said
NO!!!
But I really would like to but I'm such a coward when it comes to needles.
Maybe a pair of lips on my butt. Bright red in a pucker so everyone can kiss it!!

Shylah, compromise and get some of those temporary tattoos. Then you can see if you really like the look first.
Honestly, I couldn't do it, I hate needles! Also, I'm too chicken.  |

I've been told that I can't get a tattoo by a doctor because I'm allergic to some metals, but I'm perfectly happy about that!
I've seen people who have some beautiful tattoos and been envious. But I know that what I would love to have stuck on me today will be completely different than a year from now. I simply change my mind too much over time, and I know that sooner or later, no matter how much I love it now, I'd end up regretting getting a tattoo.
I agree with Bethie. At least use temporary tattoos as a test run. |

Hmm...
Now I hate to be one to cut off my nose to spite my face, but if someone told me I couldn't do something to my body when I wanted to, I would probably do it just to spite them! LOL
However, logically speaking, I don't know about the tattoo. First of all, I have a friend who has one which is HALF done: it hurt too much and she couldn't let them fill in the color. So the pain is a real deterrant for me. Secondly, what if you changed your mind, and it was already there? and thirdly -- skin does weird things as you get older... will it look the same later?
But that's me.... If you get one, can you post a pic?  |

Life expectancy for the average female in Canada right now is somthing like 84 years old.... and increasing yearly....

Shylah I've thought about getting a tattoo myself. My husband also said NO.....however I'm still thinking about it.
My daughter got one a few months ago and its really cool.
That being said....I can't imagaine why anyone would get a tattoo on their butt. Why put one where you can't even see it???
Do you think Bob needs help with a sign or saying?? I'm thinking NOT. Now the lips.....thats cute!! |

Shylah you are soooooo not alone. I want a tat in the worst way. My husband has a few -- in fact he and his brother have some of the most amazing art pieces I have ever seen. I have alwasy wantde one, too.... but I cannot get past the needles. I got my cartlidged pierced and I thought cool I can do this but then I had bloos drawn and I'm back to Ewwwwwww no. LOL

If my daughter can do it anyone can. She is a HUGE baby about needles!! She didn't even shed a tear.
Bratattitude I think you mean that you had "blood" drawn?? If you can't handle that then you for sure should stay away from getting a tattoo. |

alright shylah GET IT DONE! i got mine in my early 20's, the big Marine i was wiwth at the time said i wouldnt be able to handle it.
well i have the cutest pink butterfly on my boob. i want to have 2 more, 1 on my hip and 1 on an ankle. DO IT DO IT DO IT. you only go around once. and it doesnt look like a needle. you dont have to watch.
i bet mrR would let me get the pink hand print on my butt, or how about a bulls eye to help  land the smacks. yea! ive got to go call him before he gets to work. |
