My first guess was a shadow, but as I thought more about it, I figured it must be a hole.

Sorry for the confusion Pink. I was answering Leah's riddle. The confusion was that there are actually two riddles in this thread. So a whole box of cookies for EVERYONE on Bethie's bill.
P.S. I believe you are correct with your answer to the first riddle and I am correct with the answer to the second one, but we will have to wait until Tammy and Leah give us the answers.

Okay Leah, I still need an answer to your riddle to see of I am correct. I am still holding out for my cookie.
Sorry Tammy, I did not answer your question, as no doubt  I would have got it correct. 
Okay, I am so full of it, as several members did answer correctly with the answer of tree. Therefore, even if I did guess the correct answer (being tree) I would have been too late.
So Tammy my answer to your riddle would be TREE.
Do I have all of you now completely confused and questioning my sanity.

Sighhhhhhhhh...
OKKKKKKKKKKKKKK....just for you Tammy!
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
2. Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips over low heat. Cream butter and sugar. Add melted chocolate chips and vanilla; beat in eggs; add flour mixture and remaining chocolate chips.
3. Wrap in plastic and freeze until firm (about 20 minutes).
4. Make small balls (1 inch); roll in confectioners' sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F
Note: it's important to put the mixture in the freezer first cos it really makes a difference...BELIEVE IT OR NOT

For me too Badgirl although November through Febuary are perfect being very sunny and cool in the daytime and pretty cold at night.Problem this year is we need a lot of rain for the crops and the water supply and it ain,t there.I usually hate the rainy season but right now I miss it. |

It's been an eventful summer here in the UK
Flooding in several places and several homes badly damaged. People are looking at it being up to a year before they get back in their homes.
Now, foot and mouth has broken out again in 2 farms so far. Several humdred cattle had to be put down. Those farms look to lose their livelyhood. And it looks like it came from a research facility!
And the sun was out today!! Too bad I didn't bother to get dressed. Just didn't have the energy to wiggle into that damn bra.

Well I did make them - in the middle of the night to avoid overheating. Of course I work nights so that's not a hardship for me.
