I have about five different punishment spankings coming my way. We're way behind because we were busy one week and then I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so I couldn't have bruises, and then I just kept getting myself in trouble. I hate having things over my head, and have been pestering him about at least getting one over with on Friday. "In fact," I said, "I want to have three out of the way by the end of the weekend. Let's do a spanking Friday, Saturday, and Sunday." As soon as I said it, I knew it was a mistake. Unfortunately, he replied with an emphatic, "That sounds like a great idea. We might even continue through Monday and Tuesday." Now I can't talk him out of it.
Anyone have ideas on how to de-tenderize a butt between spankings? There's nothing worse than going into a spanking already sore. Especially when one's boyfriend has decided that the rubber paddle is the Best. Thing. Ever.
By the way, I'm starting ARPA, the Anti-Rubber Paddle Association. I'm sure I can't be the only one who feels this way. |

You should be careful what you ask for....sometimes you get more than what you seek...

My mouth gets me into trouble all the time. I HAVE GOT to think before I speak. To make matters worse, I also may have called him a "lazy disciplinarian" and told him he should start a blog of the same name. I'm betting he brings that one up while he's swinging the strap. I am a fool. |

I don't know Clairebare....but it kinda sounds to me like you're tryin' to push pretty hard...maybe even go as for as calling you a little bratty right now...
If you keep it up, you might end up riding a bike to work, standing up the whole way... You might look a little funny if you can't "sit" and do your job.
But anyway, it's your bottom that's in trouble, not your mouth. Someday, with his "gentle understanding and guidance..." he may help you figure out they ARE connected...
I hope you're able to sleep...knowing how much trouble it sounds like you've gotten yourself into.

Hi Clairebare,
Sounds like you have gotten yourself into some trouble. I tend to do the same thing and he always tells me to be careful of what I ask for because I could get that and then some lol.
As for how to de-tenderize your bottom in between spankings ...try some Arnica oil ...it's good for bruises, swelling, and pain. Not sure how well it will help you with that many spankings coming but anything would be worth the try and if I were in your boots I would try anything and everything lol. |

I think that is in a brat's nature. I am the same way but I have found for myself that when I act like that there is usually a reason behind it. Maybe I feel he neglecting me, allowing me to get away with things, or something like that. I don't think a little bratting is a bad thing in this type of relationship as long as both parties agree to it and it doesn't get out of hand but I sometimes think that it can lead topping from the bottom and most Doms don't like that, at least mine doesn't and if I do then I get a discipline spanking for that. But some fun bratting is ok. |

I know what you mean. Our relationship isn't truly D/s, though, so I get away with more. That doesn't mean the spankings aren't serious, but our relationship is pretty playful.
By the way, I documented my punishment in the real life area, if anyone is interested. |

You know what the kicker is?? Not a single bruise after last night! I don't even like bruising, but then at least I can point to it and say, "See! This is why I made such a fuss last night! It hurt enough to leave this!!" And now he's all smug, because he takes the fact that I didn't bruise as a sign of his great skill as a spanker. I feel so cheated! |

Don't worry, Clairebare, I never bruise. I don't know if it's the warm-ups or because my bottom is tough (hence the nickname "Iron Butt"). I don't worry about it though, I can "feel" the love when it's happening and sometimes even after, and that's all that matters as far as I'm concerned.
Besides, for me, no bruises means more spankings. 
I suppose all this means that de-tenderizing your bottom between spankings isn't an issue now?  |

Ha! Well,after two separate spankings this weekend, I don't have a single mark. I think a lot of this has to do with pretty decent warm-ups. He also ices during and after. It drives me crazy during, but I guess it works.
By the way, Bethie, a while ago I commented on your blog about this stuff called Biofreeze. It completely takes care of itching, at least for me. I don't know if you caught the comment. |

I have the other side of the coin I bruise easily so now My Lord says it isn't that bad or sore because you bruise easily. Oh the lot of us poor bottoms and our bruised bottoms. |
