I'm feeling adventurous today. The thought of a hairbrush spanking turns me on quite a lot - I think it's for the same reasons as a belt does - because it's something you use every day and just seeing it is enough to give me a bit of a thrill, and a reminder to be good! Anyway, so as I've decided I need to be spanked with a hairbrush, I really will have to buy one because the ones I have are all tiny and rubbish. So I went into the chemist's yesterday and chose two models which I'd love your help on deciding between! The first one I saw was wooden, with a slightly rounded back and rubber grips on the handle "for extra control and comfort"! (Who needs extra control when they're brushing their hair?? Were these brushes made for spankoes??) It's big enough to probably do one cheek at a time. The second one, a paddle brush (hmm again with the spanko-hairbrush manufacturers...) is bigger and squarer, made of hard plastic with a random design on the back. I'd probably find it more useful for brushing my hair, but let's face it, that's not a deciding factor here! I'm quite inexperienced with the spanking thing, but what I have tried I've loved and I'm slowly converting my vanilla boyfriend. So any advice on which would be best, which you would pick (tops and bottoms?), which may be friendlier for him and which may be friendlier for me ...(!) and any ideas what the two different materials/sizes/shapes might be like (e.g. wooden will be stingier but plastic make a louder sound etc.. or whatever.) would be lovely. |

Buy them both! What we might like, dislike...you might not. I like something flat. A lot ob wooden brushes are rounded on the back. I also like oval. Why? dont know...just do! |

Rounded back wood!!! One cheek at a time just means more swats required - no problem right? I would not be too keen on plastic. Part of that is just my preference for wood over plastic in general. If the random design is raised, it will add to the sensation and the pattern may "print" nicely giving interesting marks. The squarer back has to be aimed better to avoid striking with the corners. The rounded wooden brush will be more tolerant to misalignment with the target due to the target jumping around or inexperience on the part of the spankee. I am sure either brush will have enough sting to ensure some target movement! Since spanking for me is primarily erotic it would also be important which brush (spanking side) is going to feel nicer sliding over skin in between swats. Also the feel of the bristles is important as that is another sensation that can be enjoyed in various ways as part of the spanking. I like a silky smooth back and fairly stiff prickly bristles (not the plastic "bristles" with little round plastic bumps on the ends!) The contrast of sensations, along with the spanking itself makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts! 'course many of us here are implement crazy and could not resist buying them both... Have fun with which ever you buy! PS My wife would also add durability to the list of considerations - ie if you end up hating the thing and it ends up for "punishment only" how long will it take to wear out the bristles using it as a actual hairbrush so you can have an excuse to throw it out? |

If you really want something that packs a punch, buy a bath brush, this is more wicked than any hairbrush and it gets your attention for sure. MG uses a bath brush on me when I have been extra naughty and boy does it ever hurt, and get my attention and I usually straighten up for a long while after it is used. The one he owns he bought at the Vermont Country Store , they have a good one. Good luck with buying whatever you decide to buy! |

I would recommend the wooden one as well, but that's mostly because we did buy one of each of these styles. I did love the feel of the plastic one, but after about 6 or so uses it broke. The wooden one packs a bit more bang to it, but has lasted for 18 months so far...
Life is short. Eat dessert first.
