Come out, come out, wherever you are!
It's Love Our Lurkers Day out there in the spanko blogosphere and I don't see why we can't have our own get acquainted party here.
I'd love to hear from all you folks out there who haven't joined yet, or have joined and not posted, or posted a couple of times but haven't lately, or anyone who just wants to say "Hi" to their fellow Denizens! (That includes those who post regularly who want to help encourage the new folks.)
We're friendly and don't bite (unless we ask first, of course) so don't be afraid to come out and say hello. We'd love to hear about you and your spanko tastes.

Hello again to all  : novices, greatly experienced, everything in between, and everyone at all for that matter!
I'm a middle-aged spankee/bottom novice and sub-in-training. I've been married to my hubby for almost two decades. We just started in this lifestyle within the last year! Wow, what a difference it's made in not only our love life but our life in general! 
I believe I'll participate in the questionnaire since it sounds so delicious... 
Do you consider yourself a spankee, a spanker, or a switch?
I'm a spankee, and as my username implies, a paranoid (half joking/half serious) one  !
Do you enjoy implements or is hand spanking your preference?
I love to be hand spanked, but my hubby's hand is big, and he also has a really strong right arm, so sometimes when he's giving me a hand spanking, it can hurt/sting almost as much as when he is using an implement! This is especially true if I'm receiving a hand spanking for punishment  .
I enjoy rulers, too: the 12" flexible, blue, translucent, virtually indestructable (unfortunately--or is it  ) plastic one is very snappy, and when wielded expertly in quick succession on alternating bare cheeks, well, allow me to hack a phrase from Bethie here: "Ouchie!  "
The steel ruler is cruel and effective for punishment spankings; it really "gets my attention," and it can leave a little (or more than a little) bruising. I'm very excited, because yesterday I found a pink Westcott (great brand) 12" steel ruler which I promptly purchased and plan to wrap up for my Christmas stocking! I also found a LARGE blue (my hubby's favorite color) silicone spatula--guess who's getting that in his Christmas stocking! 
The 18" wood ruler is supposed to be a fine over-the-knee (my favorite position) implement, because it allows enough length for the spanker to hold the implement and spank both cheeks simultaneously. However, we've noticed some splintering, and frankly we are predicting this item will break fairly soon (perhaps I'll have to look into a better quality one next time).
I love/hate that dreaded wooden spoon for those equally dreaded "Bend over with your hands and elbows down on that kitchen table, Miss," yank-down-the-pants, no warm-up, very hard, quickie/correction spankings.
Some implements I'd LOVE to acquire: that lovely Leather Thorn Rose Paddle and a Lexan paddle--I've heard so many good things about them both.

I love the Den. I'm still exploring this wonderful place, but everything I've seen so far is fabulous. You folks are the nicest group of cyberspacers I've met anywhere!

Since I didn't answer the questions earlier I thought I would now.
1. Do yourself a spankee, spanker, or switch?
Definately a spankee. Even thinking about putting my hubby otk makes me giggle. 
2. Do you enjoy implements or is hand spanking your preference?
His hand definately since is much more intimate. Although like Paranoidspankee my hubbys hand is rather large and can hurt as much as any implement.

So far everything I have had questions about has been answered. Everyone on here has been great. Its nice to have a place to go and ask without feeling like people are judging you.

Well I know I do not post as much as others but I have been enjoying the site. I am a forty something spanker. I am currently involved with a caring gentleman who has no problem giving me what I need.

As a single male spanker in my 50s, with a rich and busy vanilla life, I gotta say sometimes I just give up hoping to find a spanking partner. Tom, never give up hope! I was no spring chicken when I met Dan four plus years ago. I'd been in other relationships but this was the one I'd been waiting for. It was worth the wait, too, believe me! I've never been happier.
There were definitely times when I thought I'd never find the right guy, but I did. For years I just concentrated on my career, family, and friends to keep myself occupied. At the same time, I kept my options open and tried different things so I'd stay "on the market" just in case. I joined a spanking group, tried an online ad, chat rooms, and then a spanking forum.
After all of that, I met Dan online on a forum like this one. We started out as friends who exchanged thoughts in discussion threads and moved on from there. It took time and patience, but I'm glad I stuck it out.
Hang in there, you never know when or where you'll stumble into the right person.  |
