Now that we have a growing community of regular posters perhaps here we could discuss the music we like. It might or might not relate to TTWD but a discusion of music could be a good way to further build our community. Enjoy HT |

I'm all about classic rock. I know I am sounding old, but I can't get into techno and hip-hop. Probably because we have such a mix of it going on in various rooms of the house with the kids. I have been a Beatles fan since before I can remember and I fell in lust at a naive age of 12 with Rod Stewart. My husband plays guitar and I took piano lessons myself, but haven't made the time to play in years, so I would be back to square one. |

I stick to the classic rock and hard rock arena, and I'm a bit of a metal head too. Once like Kendra I was against opera, but having performed in a couple of them here in LA it's grown on me. I still won't pop it in the cd player for a road trip but it'll over silence most times. Besides we all listened to it as kids... two words, Bugs Bunny. |

Classic rock, some new stuff, some country (I love to 2-step). Anything with a good BEAT! Leaving tomorrow for Las Vegas to see Stevie Nicks at Caesar's Palace. Now, back in the day, that young lady needed a good paddling! Today, I think she's more of a dom! Alas, he was the Highwayman The one who comes and goes And only the Highway Woman Keeps up with the likes of those...

Classical, jazz, blues, christian rock, and oldies, in that order. I think I'm an old soul. I play trumpet and love playing jazz and blues, but nowadays mostly only get to play church music. |

And the soundtrack from 'Easy Rider' Yea, I can hear y'all now... "..dude's got bikes on the brain. Give him a CT Scan an all you'll see are bikes and butts he'd like to spank!" Yup. |

I have heard of swift, however I have not heard them I like Johnny Cash... he's got some good ones "I fell into a burning ring of fire, I went down down down, and the flames went higher" or the ever popular Jim Reeves, and Marty Robbins "Out in the west texas town of el paso I fell in love with a mexican girl" hehe... I am enjoying singing "Boy you been a naughty girl you let your knickers down.. I am the eggman.... I am the eggman... I am the walrus.. coocoo ca chu" hehe "you must tie her down and spank her, spank her well and after you've spanked her, spank me.."

. Nope, 'fraid not...more like a Southern belle..or to be more precise, a steel magnolia. But I like my music with a kick and my spankings with a sizzle...Steppenwolf and leather cover both those passions nicely.... This just seemed to fit for today. "The Man Who Sold The World" We passed upon the stairs, we spoke of was and when Although i wasn't there, he said I was his friend Which came as some surprise I spoke into his eyes I thought you died alone, a long long time ago Oh no, not me I never lost control You're face to face With the man who sold the world I laughed and shook his hand, i made my way back home I searched for form and land, for years and years i roamed I gazed a gazley stare at all the millions here We must have died alone, a long long time ago Who knows, not me We never lost control You're face to face With the man who sold the world Nothing says I love you like a spanking

It really depends on my mood... and usually it's also anything that you can dance to... I'm also a dance addict! So Latin music, Salsa, yes, even house, but also jazz, country (the Czech one, we call it the folk music, these songs one sings around the fire somewhere deep in the forests...hmmm... what an idea... I hope it won't be too cold and rainy in the weekend, there's such a trip coming, yupeee. Rock, Sting, french music, Santana, Ella Fitzerald... so many... |

I love rock also. I much prefer the retro stuff on stations that play the 70s and 80s. Showing my age again but really I am all about the 80s music! I do like some of the newer stuff but don't know most of the band names anymore. I love everything from Neil Diamond to Matchbox 20! You all would laugh hysterically at my house. We clean the kitchen to LOUD music with all of us singing at the tops of our lungs. My three kids sing everything from Jim Croce to old disco music. Now what 1st grader do you know that knows EVERY Jim Croce and Cat Stevens song? To show the contrast...this same child also knows all the AC/DC, the Beatles and the Eagles on up to Blind Mellon, Matchbox 20, Smash mouth and Green Day tunes too! I only like country in certain moods, a good live band and a cold beer works also. I can NOT stand any of the rap stuff though. Awesome question! ... I have a library of over 4000 songs on my computer, classical, classic rock, modern rock, pop, country, R&B, metal, rap, opera (phantom of the opera, regular and techno and yes a lot of techno from a friend of mine. But I must say, there are two bands that will always top the list on any CD I burn, Pink Floyd and Metallica Kryssi is the sweetest, most innocent woman on the planet... while she's asleep.

Here's some classic Pink Floyd that I think everyone should know: It's awefully considerate of you for thinking of me dear, And I'm most obliged to you for making it clear that I'm not here. And I never knew the room could be so big, And I never knew the room could be so blue. And I'm thankful that you threw away my old shoes, And brought me here instead dressed in red. And I'm wondering who could be writing this song. Oh, I don't care if the sun don't shine, and I don't care if nothing is mine, and I don't care if I'm nervous with you. I'll do my lovin' in the winter. work sleep baby, this is my life.... except for the sleep.

..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... I'm not the one who's so far away When I feel the snake bite enter my veins Never did I wanna be here again And I don't remember why I came Candles raise my desire Why I'm so far away No more meaning to my life No more reason to stay Freezing feeling, Breathe in, breathe in I'm coming back again I'm not the one who's so far away When I feel the snake bite enter my veins Never did I wanna be here again And I don't remember why I came Hazing clouds rain on my head Empty thoughts fill my ears Find my shade by the moon light Why my thoughts aren't so clear Demons dreaming Breathe in, breathe in I'm coming back again I'm not the one who's so far away When I feel the snake bite enter my veins Never did I wanna be here again And I don't remember why I came Voodoo, voodoo, voodoo, voodoo. So far away... I'm not the one who's so far away... I'm not the one who's so far away... I'm not the one who's so far away... Nothing says I love you like a spanking
