ok so i recently found out that my boyfriend is into wat he calls soft core s&m stuff, in which he feels that if a female has done something wrong she should be punished(spanked). which is fine with me but im having trouble with his explanations for it. is he able to "punish" me for something that i have done wrong before i met him or no, i would think not but im just checking. i dunno really any insite anyone has would be great cause he's been tellin me about this for like a month now and i've been reading things on and off about it, but i still have some things im not sure about!im curious about this whole thing and im really thinking about trying it so anything will help thanks

Hello and Welcome to the Den. I'm glad you are asking questions, as that is the only way to learn. It says in your profile that you are a top, but your post suggests otherwise. A top is the one who does the spanking and a bottom the one who receives the spanking.
As far as the "rules" go, that is a purely personal decision that should be agreed upon after discussion. Both parties will need to agree in order for the punishment to be consentual.
Please feel free to ask all questions that you are unclear about. Be selective on what you read, as there are many sites that differ and in my opinion, some of them are over the top in their beliefs. You need to go by what you are comfortable with.
As far as punishing you for things you did before you met, no one can make that decision but you. If at any time you feel the spankings are not consentual, there is going to be frustrations and possible resentments.
Move slowly and carefully.

he gave me a site to read about on this stuff and like i read it but there's still stuff i dont understand and i dont kno how to word the stuff either. and he was like let me kno wat you think and stuff and i dont kno wat to tell him i mean this stuff is interesting to me and i think it sounds like a thing i could get into but he is all like let me kno and its hard to just make a decision like that. he's been into this stuff for a while now and he just said something to me about it and i told him, you kno alot about it cause you've researched it for a while and kno alot about it and i dont kno anything basically so just give me time to figure this out. am i wrong for not wanting to jump right into the spanking scene or am i right for takin my time with it? |

If you are uncertain about ANYTHING, you should not jump into it.
I am wondering if English is your primary language. If not, possibly that is making it a little more difficult for you to understand what you read.
Please word your questions in any way you feel comfortable here. I'm sure there is someone who can offer some answers, or at least suggestions.
