Hi, my name is Arianna and am married to a wonderful man. I showed him a couple of spanking sites and asked him what he thought about it. He just chuckled and said, "You are so silly." I've brought the topic (spanking) up a couple of times and his response is always the same - "I don't want to hurt you or see you cry." Any suggestions? I think my approaches are all wrong? |

Wow - what a crazy week this has been (work/home)! Thank you so much for your advise. I mentioned your idea of talking to a few men about it (hesitant, but didn't say no). We are making progress in inches (at least we are moving in the right direction though)!
I have a favor to ask...can you help me with a suggestion or two on how it will benefit us both? I don't want him to see this as something for just me. I want us both to get something great out of this. Maybe if I mention the benefits from a "guy" perspective, it would help. Thank you! |

When I read your response, I had to chuckle. When you explain it, it sounds so simple, so "everyday" life.
We don't really have any rules. Can you explain what type of rules you are talking about? Typically, in the winter I drive to work whether the roads are snowy or icy because I just don't call in sick. There was one day that I planned on attempting the drive (not a short distance) and when he asked me not to and I saw the concern in his face, I didn't (usually, I explain that I have to be there and just go). I do most of the housework and yardwork because I enjoy it (okay, I'm kind of anal about my house too), so no need for rules there. What's left? |

Hmmm...I didn't think about it from that perspective. I'm certainly not perfect and he is always telling me I don't know how to relax (I just keep going).
I'll ask him tonight what he would like for me to do more of for him and if there are any behaviors he would like me to work on. You know, this could be fun!
