If you've been frustrated by the slowness of navigating the forum, or by how long it takes to post, take heart! An upgrade is coming.
Bethie's got her forum software running on a server of mine that is heavily burdened (by other sites) at the moment. However, I just got of the phone with my hosting company, and they will be giving me an upgrade soon. The time frame is still uncertain -- it may take another week to ten days -- but it will happen. The new machine should be much faster under current loads.
The upgrade should be completely transparent, with no interruption of service. But when the tech for my host said that word "should" he put heavy emphasis and verbal quotes around it, and then chuckled nervously. So who knows? |

Well I posted in every forum so I had to post here to make sure I covered all of them. 
I couldn't access the site yesterday.  But I made up for it today.

Nbn, it wasn't just you, we couldn't access it either for a while. The server was down for a little while.
I wasn't happy about it, but I did get a few things done around the house.  |

Okay, the new hardware is on the way - I know, it's way past when they said it would be there. Then they'll have to set it up which could take some time. But it will happen and we'll all be much happier.
