Just a note to let everyone know I am having surgery in the morning and we be out of sorts for the next two to three weeks.
Happy Holidays to all and I will catch up on everything in the New Year.

I'm back in a limited capacity, so thought I would pop in. I went for my 2 week post-op check and am not healed enough to have the stitches out yet. He is giving me two more weeks. I am still on lots of pain meds which I really wish I didn't need.
Life sucks at the moment. My five year old dog died yesterday after fighting kidney failure since Christmas Day. She had been in the hospital since Sunday and my husband had been driving me back and forth to be with her. Poor darling only wanted me to hold her, so the vet set up a stool at just the right height for her to lie on the table and me to hold her.
Meanwile, I am so limited in what I can do, I can't even engage in any distractions. My husband bought me a mini lap-top so at lest now I can check my e-mail et-cetera.

Take it easy sweetie. Those post-operative blues are normal but you,re on your way to recovery. Want to see that feisty Fanny that I,ve know to come to love. Get better quick girl!!! |

Thank you everyone, and I think you will see my fiestiness returning today BV. 
At this time, for your better understanding, I will explain what has happened. I underwent a double mastectomy three weeks ago. I choose to have reconstruction done at the same time.
Many of you know that I have been battling cancer for three years now and I see this as a major setback as well as the emotions of losing my natural breasts. The loss of my dog right afterwards has not helped. I am finding getting through this to be more difficult than I thought it would be. I am not known as a patient person (big surprise!)
Hopefully, next week I will be able to have the stitches out and maybe change out of the surgical compression vest I have been wearing around the clock. I am a strong person and a fighter and I just need to time to find that strength again.
I will admit, I have not been eating, drinking or sleeping enough to heal properly, but I am working towards it.

Had the stitches our yesterday, Bethie.......OUCH!!!!!!!!! A few opened up but are taped. Healing has begun, but the doctor had told me to expect a rough six weeks. I didn't believe him, because he does not know how tough I can be in painful situations, but it turns out he was correct. I am still on pain meds, but wake up about every two hours for more ice packs. It is hard to eat and sleep properly while you are in pain.
I am beginning to feel like life is not going to be fun ever again. I know, drama queen time, but at least it is winter and I have been in pjs for a month and have not had to go out much, except to the doctor.

Post-operative is awful but as bad as it is it will end. Know how tough it is but you,ll get there Fanny. Get well !! |

Thanks for the welcome back.
It is all part of the long term spanking relationship. Some times are really good and other times play has to take a back seat.
Speaking of back seats...it is a good place to play, if you have a large enough vehicle and it is parked somewhere private.

Stupid security cameras. They're a bloody nuisance, aren't they. I really hope you're feeling better, Fanny. My aunt's been battling breast cancer for a few years, she went into remission, and then had a relapse this year, and it went and spread to her bones. We're really worried about her, because the chemo sends her heart bananas, but we really hope seh's getting better soon. I hope you're getting better too, it's really tough isn't it. All my love, ass always. |
