My husband has an annoying habit of leaving our toys out for people to find. On our honeymoon, he left a rather large novelty paddle that we got out on display for the maids to find. It was brightly colored with the words "beat my ass" written on it. I guess I couldn't get away with telling them it was because I was going to brew a nice batch of bathtub gin with it, eh? Did I mention that we honeymooned in disney world? When we were engaged, we used to have our fun at his father's house because it was a lot more private than mine. I had no idea that he wasn't taking much care to hide our things. One day, I went over his house and his step-mother informed us that she had done some house cleaning - including his room. It seemed strange that she needed to point this out to us until we went upstairs and found a dom-sub board game, a blindfold, a pair of velcro handcuffs, a yardstick, an "economy pack" of condoms (he was apparently planning on getting lucky a lot more often than I did), and one of my bras neatly piled on top of his bed. I literally would have rather climbed out the window of his second-story bedroom to leave than go back downstairs. Does anyone else have any stories to share? |

not exactly like that, my husband's 22 year old daughter moved in with us and it was supposed to be for just a month or two but lasted way longer than that, we had no privacy, on top of that I found out she is a snoop, so all our toys had to go in the trunk of my car, not a happy time. it did some damage to our marriage but thankfuly we have been able to repair the damage and move on. I would not like anyone to know what kind of toys we have, like cuffs and collars, paddles etc. how would you explain that, my face would be as red as my butt. maybe you need to talk to your husband before the wrong person finds out and blabs it all over town. my name says it all

Since we have kids and guests, long ago we bought a locking builder's box. It is kept up on the highest shelf of the bedroom closet and no one has ever suspected (or asked anyway). Queen of Innocence "Well behaved woman rarely make history"

We have a locking rifle case. They come in various sizes, as do bow cases. They can be purchased reasonably at chain sporting goods stores or a WalMart in a non-urban location. It is a little easier for us to handle than a builders' box. When we have house guests, it goes in the garage, leaned up against the gun safe. Still locked, of course. I have also used a guitar case. I fitted it with locking clasps, so it is pretty secure. It is not as space-efficient, but is pretty innocent-looking. . |

Footlockers look cool, like a piece of furniture, can be draped with something, and you can even put stuff on top of them. There roomy about 4' by 2' and I think usually around $40 and big box retailers. |

not really leaving anything laying around but, but once we checked into a "holidome" hotel...the kind with putt putt and ping pong tables for guest to play...just had to leave a deposit for the equipment... the the golf balls and ping pong stuff at the desk...my husband ask the clerk ping pong stuff, but that we only needed one paddle and for a short time....the clerk smiled and handed him a old one with the rubber padding gone, only bare wood. and said just bring it back when you are done!!!! After he used it I had to return it. Luckly there was a different clerk there when I returned it. |

My best friend was in town visiting for a couple of weeks and decided to pitch in with my spring cleaning. When we went to flip the mattress on the bed low and behold there was the leather paddle with the heart cut-out design. Fortunatly for me she all ready knew about our lifestyle and accepets it, unfortunatly she is the only one and lives 4 dang hours from me. Just goes to show even the out of sight things can bite you on the bottom. Especially when you don't know where he puts them out of sight . |

We have invested in a file cabinet with locks, and actually even have a few old tax returns on top to make it convincing. Sometimes though in the heat of the moment things don't get put back and are forgotten about. Of course here lately I'd probably forget my head if it wasn't attached. |

I keep my obvious toys hidden and out of sight, but have to love implements such as hair brushes, wooden spoons, and the like that can be kept in plain sight and are handy for those times when needed. The Brat Tamer...changing brats attitudes one smack at a time

Zippo, you would get along well with my husband! He mostly uses his belt....never a problem when it gets left out anywhere. Same with the hairbrush!! |
