As we were in the garage this morning leaving for work my husband bent me over a bench, pulled up my dress, down my panties, and gave me five or six good swats on the rear. Nice. Then told me to expect more of the same this evening. I have been thinking about it all day. Does anyone else think the anticipation is the best/worst part of a spanking? |

Oh yes, the anticipation is deff the best/worse! Having to think about it all day, knowing thats all your gonna think about. I love it

I haven't had the pleasure of being told to expect a spanking...but for me thinking about the next time i might get one is definitely delicious...just thinking about getting a spanking can make me tingle all over...almost like a ghost memory. |

I love the idea of it (and the reality too) imagining what the hand or paddle, or belt will feel like coming down...I just want to experience it all. I have had those experiences and I am looking forward to experiencing as many more as my hubbie will indulge me in. I definitely have a love/hate relationship with anticipation. Sometimes a major spanking is announced several days before its execution, and those days are spent in all kinds of nervous apprehension! There's a lot of fear/nervousness, but it's an insane turn-on for me as well.

My husband was raised very religious so getting him to dominate me has been somewhat of a challenge. He will indulge me in a spanking from time to time but not nearly as often as I would like, and never to the extent I like!! I get very excited when he makes me anticipat, but he only follows thru 50% of the time which drives me crazy b/c I think about it all day and get nothing. I even miss behave and say you will just have to punish me for that. Any advice on getting him to be more consistent without freaking him out? |

I love the anticipation.....without it, I feel like something is missing, as it is needed as part of my spanking experience...everyone is different...
Moreplease, I was having the same issues of far & in between, until I sent my hubbie an email expressing how much spanking does for me sexually & otherwise, that I need & crave it more often. Turns out he thought I was just letting him do it to appease his wants. Communication definitely is the key. Something else that may work, after your next spanking, try doing something sexually 'special', that maybe you don't do often enough for him. My husband realised that after a good spanking, he could get me to do a lot of other things. It made him more enthusiastic!! |

Now this thread interests me a lot. When I decided to really start researching the spanking lifestyle it seemed like I was wet for 2 weeks straight just thinking about when my husband would spank me. However, it can lead to frustration too. Here's a short story that just happened to me yesterday:
My husband and I are walking out the front door to leave and he asks if the back door is locked. I said that I had locked it. He said if it wasn't locked when we got home I might get a spanking. That immediately turned me on and I felt like running back into the house just to make sure the door was unlocked. But instead I climbed into the car and we went on our way. I told him he turned me on, and I even discussed this very thread with him, all in all a very nice driving down the road conversation. Fast toward several hours later, we get home and husband goes to let the dog out through the backdoor. As he opens the door I ask if it was locked... he said it was and went out with the dog. No spanking. Sigh.} |

I like the anticipation because it extends the period of arousal especially when using a crop or a strap. I suppose you can extend a spanking but not a proper cropping when you are limited in the number of strokes. |

I totally agree with pink cheeks. I get about a weeks notice as we live a couple hundred miles apart...the anticipation drives me crazy! In the meantime Sir drops hints of his plans for me and my bottom on a daily basis which just adds to the nervous excitement!

WOW, at last I found a forum site of like minded people (Bethie I love your site and your regulations).
Although I am currently having a hiatus from being in a relationship I have given a few hours of anticipation at times, but it never really occured to me that it could be extended to a day or a week. (Have written a note to self on that one. HA)
I see a few of you are having trouble convincing your partners of your desires. I grew up in a religous family and didn't take the lid off my darker desires until I was in my early forties.
I couldn't understand why someone would get turned on by pain, until I had a little accident. I was cooking meat in a frying pan while I cut up some vegies just beside it. I got a little burn when I bumped the pan so I ran it under water for a minute. Then when I picked up the spatula to turn the meat I noticed the end of the spatula was shaking slightly. I realised that this was adrenalin shakes and adrenalin gives our muscles extra strength. EVEN THE MUSCLES THAT CONTRACT DURING ORGASM making an orgasm more intense.

Ahh yes the wait while knowing, i get that call of be ready which means he will tell me in the corner or over the bed bottom half bared or just dressed and waiting it still sends shivers down my spine to my bottom. Sometimes he will calls and said he will be home between example 7 and 8 so that means i had better be ready however he wants me at 7 and waiting if he walks in at 7:55 thats a long time to think and feel the exposed area, i had best not be caught running to the assigned place as he walks in thats a big no no. |

Anticipation can be the best or worse thing ever. It can be great if it's waiting for a sexual Spanking I know I'm going to get. However most of the time my waiting is for a punishment Spanking. It's horrible to wait all day wondering and know your going to get spanked hard that night. What's worse is when my husband tells me what he is going to do or " get ready to not sit for a few days" |
