This topic came to mind when reading the anticipation thread and I did not want to derail that one.
The length of time clearly depends on what is being done. Six strokes with a crop or twelve with a strap or belt has been all my wife used to need. Still care was always taken to leave practically no marks the next day. But you can't extend the time when the strokes are few on account of their intensity.
I suppose the spankers among us start and stop, have a chat and tea in between. No? |

I like sessions to go for 1.5 to 2 hours. I would point out that we switch, so there are breaks in between whilst we change over. This usually includes floggers, paddles/brush, rattan and delrin canes and maybe some hand as well. |

In our home it all depends on what has been done . I know when the call comes in be ready when i get home its going to be a long one. Fast ones are 15 mins or so long ones could last a hour and more than once a day . Bedtime ones are slow so not to forget. Sexual ones could be hours but they are of a diffrent type and more play is put into them during the breaks. |

a serious one lasts over 2 hours. First i will put her across my lap and pull down her panties if she's stil got them on. Then I warm up her bottom in very errotic way. I always ask for a specific number of strokes before I am paddled. My wife surprised me with an extra one I didn't ask for. She grinned and said, "that's an extra one to grow on".
