Anyone ever heard of "nose and toes" cornertime for a spankee? It's quite uncomfortable.. I read about it in a story online about sorority house spankings. |

No I haven't & I was in a sorority which still believed in hazing, paddling, punishments, etc., even though such was officially forbidden. I have spent many hours in cornertime, but don't know "nose and toes". I am curious. Please describe it. I have been cornered many ways, like naked with hands on ankles & feet set apart/sitting/standing/tied up/even lying down !!!! Tell me about nose and toes ! Thanks |

I'm changing my answer...I think. A friend of mine with sorority as well as spanking experience tells me it simply means standing against a wall or in a corner with toes and nose touching the wall. Hands would be behind or on your head. If that's it, I've been cornered "nose & toes" many times. Nearly always with bare bottom on display. Often totally naked or from the waist down. I just never heard it called that before. Simple when you think about it. Hey, Johnsk, what else have you read about sorority paddlings ??? Heh heh. |

I have become more interested in non-spanking punishment for the middle aged woman. I have done a little reading and looked at some pictures in foto blogs and have a few comments. Strict corner time “nose and toes” is a serious punishment and should be considered corporeal punishment and not confused with an adult time-out.. The woman being punished who is required to stand or sit in the vicinity of a corner, wall or bookcase is actually in “adult time out. “ There is nothing wrong with time-out but don’t confuse it with strict corner time. My definition of corner time: An adult punishment consisting in a period of time the culprit must stand still at attention in a corner,(where two walls come together) or facing any flat wall. The posture is erect (at attention), feet together, toes about three inched from the wall board, knees should not be locked, hands at side and the face should be very close to the wall. A common variation used to increase the discomfort of the experience is requiring the nose to touch the wall or stay in the circle that has been drawn an inch higher than where her nose would touch naturally. Talking, moving including shifting weight from one foot to the other, leaning into or against the wall and shrugging or stretching of the neck and or shoulders is not allowed. Comments: Don’t make her kneeling as it can do damage to the bone and joint. This is an excruciating posture to hold very long. Every 20 minutes a short break should be granted. It is important the legs are not locked as she may “fall out” because of lack of circulation. |

Chuck, I see your distinction between the two. Still, Adult Time Out can be quite punishing of course. And Nose And Toes cornering can be done in a tongue in cheek way, more harassment than serious punishment. I have had to "hold position" standing erect at the wall, or on my knees, or in several other poses....including embarrassing ones....more than a few times. Even a simple position becomes punishingly difficult in a short time !! Thanks for the info. What more do you know about non-spanking punishment? I'm interested. |

In my opinion real or serious sorority paddling are probably made up stories. I think and I could be wrong the paddling are almost all ceremonial or playful. In school I dated a female basketball player. She lived in a big house with other teammates and many of the softball players. There was an elected house president, three girl committee and a sergeant -at-arms. They has a weekly meeting (not well attended) and if any of the residents had broken the rules she was “summoned” to explain herself. When someone had been summoned the room was always packed. If she could not talk her way out the punishment was usually a grounding with a teammate monitoring her or licks (pops) from a substantial paddle. My girlfriend told me the licks were on the seat of the pants and no pants were ever taken down. She told me she was sure the licks stung but the embarrassment factor was the biggest deterrent. |

Yes, sorority paddlings are ceremonial & playful. But they are also real & also serious. Most do no (lasting) serious/physical "damage"; you're right there. Embarrassment is a far bigger factor than pain from what I can gather. |

Hi Shauna I had posted in Spanking Discussion for punishments that could be used alone or with spanking. My discussion here are all experiments with my wife. As time has gone by she is much more receptive to non-spanking punishments. We are trying a modified form of grounding. She has a very responsible job, does things in the community and for the children. We are both very busy. This is how it works. When she is home she must give me the keys to her car. If she wants to go somewhere she must ask my permission to go. If I don’t give her the keys she isn’t going anywhere. First of all she hates to explain to me where she wants to go in the level of detail I require. If her plans are social (she often tries to pass off social as a work thing), I can say no and point out she is grounded. She recently stomped off after failing to convince me to give her keys to her. She returned with a hairbrush to trade for the keys. Several minutes later she drove out of the driveway sitting on a hot, red bottom. |

Shauna and time out. Any position or posture either standing, sitting or kneeling can be very stressful and not in any way a joke. Any variation of simple positions over a very short period of time can be very hard to maintain and take total concentration from the one being punished. |
