Hi Guys,
I've been a bit busy the past couple of weeks because of a personal situation. Just to give you an idea, Bob and I were "adopted" as grandparents for a special needs girl who didn't have anyone but her mother in her life. We are thrilled with it and love her to bits. Some bad things happened to her and her mother and they had no one to help them but us. So naturally we took ourselves to their side to help with the situation. It is improving now but we will be gone this weekend as well to kinda "wrap things up" and THIS GRANDMA is gona do some SERIOUS butt kicking on a few certian individuals who caused the problem in the first place!!!

I don't believe Shylah is referring to an infant here. Which is all the more reason she needs time and attention.

That girl is much blessed to have you and your hubby on her side, Shylah. And I know we can all rest assured that you will take care of the bad guys. 
Btw, you know all those "tips" I gave you about how to handle that ole biddy next door? Please don't put any of those to the test, ok?

I'm back and I kicked butt!!
The people involved with making their life miserable are meek as kittens now. Bending over backwards to help her.
Gona get her moved to our area soon. Red tape permitting...sighhhhhhh
I know I have a tendency to be a bit on the agressive side and this time it was necessary. Sorry to my fellow americans...I'm afraid I didn't give the British social workers a nice impression of a mad okie grammy on the warpath.

The jerk is getting closer to being put away as each day comes.
The powers that be are being more supportive now to help her get housing here. It will take time since they have long waiting lists but due to their circumstances they will be pushed up the list. It's a matter now of paperwork and you all know how that goes.
They remain in high spirits and plan to spend a week with us during the school fall break.
I'm redoing the back bedroom which I have been using for my craft and sewing room, taking the puters out and downstairs to an office area we are making, getting new bedding for in here and will move my sewing machine and painting stuff to the cubbyhole we have the puters in now. So I'm going to be busy busy busy for a bit.
