Any news on the server move? I'm on a T1 line, and it is really bad. I don't log on from my dial up anymore because it just takes forever.

They're working on it but we've hit a few snags. Now something else has come up and I'm going to be traveling a bit in a couple of weeks. If it's not done by then it will have to wait until I get back.
The move should go off without a hitch, but if something should go wrong, I'd want to be here so I could get right on it. If I'm away, no one else would be able to get on the tech guys about a fix.

No kiddo, its not much faster for those of us with a cable connection either. We just have to wait until Bethie and Dan are back, then we'll get our new server.

How is the forum running for you all now? We think we're all set up but I wanted to check with y'all. I'm zipping right along but I didn't have the problems others were so it's hard for me to tell.

I'm still having lots of trouble Bethie, sometimes it takes 10 minutes for a post to go thru. And once I post it can be a while before everything finishes...it will say at the bottom that we're waiting for 1 picture to load (usually means the little arrows).
Are we still getting the new server?

It's very slow for me too, Bethie.
I like popping by, but I sometimes give up because I literally wait two or three minutes for a thread to open.
Sometimes it's better than others...not sure why.
I appreciate all of your efforts...and don't want to be a gripper...but you did ask... |

The tech guys are going to work on it and if we're lucky, things should be better by early next week.
