Hi, I've lurked in the background for a very long time, getting a lot of support from all your posts, enough that I finally (after nearly 17 years of marriage) managed to let my husband know my real likes and showed him that giving me a spanking that I want is not 'hitting and abusing a woman' but actually something that can lead to good things :-) I decided it was about time I registered so I could post and say a very big THANK YOU to you all! I have one close friend here in the UK who knows 'the truth' about me (only because she let slip about herself first!) but I am used to having to keep this part of me hidden from everyone else except my husband. It's great to know there's a whole bunch of people out there with the same liking that I have! |

Thanks Subbie, Tln - I used to think I was totally weird until the wonders of the internet let me discover that actually I was fairly normal and there were loads of people with the same thoughts/dreams/wishes I had. It took a very long time, and a lot of reading other peoples experiences, to get the courage to let on to my husband though. The day he got the courage to overcome his inhibitions (never hit a woman..) was wonderful for me. He doesn't spank me as often, or as long as, I'd really like, but he is learning that I can take, and want, more. The problem is I bruise very easily and he got a bit worried about 4 weeks ago seeing the after effects of a particularly good (in my eyes) session, even though I let him know how wonderful it felt to me, and he stopped doing anything other than the occasional light tap. He did let on the other night though that he'd been thinking about it and wanting to do it again, so maybe his Top-side is really starting to appear in him? Spanking is very much an erotic thing for us, though I do like reading the DD stories too. |

I just want to jump in here with something I had said quite a while ago. I think it is a good comparison.
Consensual spanking is not abuse any more than consensual sex is rape. One is a mutually enjoyable activity and the other is an act of violence.

Hey Fanny, that's a great comparison and one I will use next time he worries. He's really struggled with having bruised me quite a lot that time - never mind that I've told him I really enjoyed the time AND that I liked seeing the bruises as each time I did it reminded me what a great time we had! If only I didn't bruise so easily it wouldn't be an issue... I generally don't bruise much with hand spanking, as he doesn't tend to go as hard or as long as needed (and as I'd like) but I do bruise if he uses anything else. Before though it's only been a little bruise here and there, this last time was quite a lot more extensive (but oh, what a super evening we had... a night away from the kids!) |
