I saw the dolphins dance In twisting paths beneath the still waters I watched them surface, three together. I saw a pretty laughing girl I wonder if she knows How much more beauty The mark on her face has given her? I would not have noticed her otherwise. I watched the sun upon the water, Dancing through the clouds’ reflections I held my daughter’s hand in mine to give her warmth. I heard Liona play Albeniz So much beauty in such little time I saw the dolphins dance And I cried. |
