I like nylon panties.  Silky ones. I own a few pairs, the only problem I have is any moisture from any public foreplay or anything like that...and you feel it until they come off, unlike cotton panties. Probably TMI. |

Where I come from that's what they're called - knickers is what I've called them my entire life - also sometimes 'pants' but I never do that on sites where the posting is predominantly from the states cos it just causes confusion! |

I find the word "knickers" very hot as well. It's just so..well English! And spanking is the English Vice as they say. I prefer it to "panties". Ironically, my british play partner doesn't like the word knickers. He thinks that that word only refers to a very specific type of undergarment, and he really prefers "panties". I must admit when I first realised that everyone in th states uses the word I thought it was funny, it sounded slightly childish to me, probably cos we sometimes call them pants - ie 'I'm going lift your skirt, pull down your pants and spank you good and proper!' Tammy, I'd agree with that, although oddly it didn't occur to me. I think because I never wear panties except for play. The rest of the time I'm not even *allowed* to wear panties, so if I'm getting a serious punishment spanking, chances are that I won't be wearing any. So I think *personally* I assocaite panties with "erotic" play (or work), even if it's a punishment scene that we are enacting.
