Maybe some advice here(for me)
Do you think it is a good idea to share all your fantasies with your partner.I mean the ones you want/would like to do with them and no-one else,no matter how kinky?I'm talking about a variety of spanking situations.
Sometimes I find that a quick otk spanking is fun and does the job,but sometimes it's not enough.Same as more severe spankings.
Your thoughts please. |

mmmmm....I am not quite sure. Sharing fantasies can be a wonderful turn-on, but I think one has to be careful not to make the other person feel inferior or inadequate...Now with spanking fantasies, I think it would be fun - as long as the other person AGREES that it is fun to share along with you

Thanks Pinkcheeks,I agree with that.Maybe not all fantasies should therefore be shared.
How should we decide what is or isn't good and fun without upsetting anyone?I have a bit of a wild imagination and would like to make it more fun for both of us,only hoping not to make her feel inferior,but to enjoy herself and the moment. |

I think it ultimately comes down to knowing your partner and his/her interests and squicks. For example, there's certain fantasies that I enjoy that I know Sparkle doesn't. We have discussed them in the past, so I did share them with her, but they're not something she's comfortable "acting out" and therefore not something I push.

In My Secret Garden the author made the point that men will usually share their fantasies but women learn not to cause guys end up thinking that you,re thinking about somebody else and not them.would be interesting some input on this. |

there are fantasies and there are fantasies, some are about spankings and sex and others are about making love, the two are different, while spankings are important to me they are not the most important thing in our priviate life, just a part of it.
My fantasies are only about my Hubby, some I keep to myself and most he knows about, but fantasies about another person, no way, just the idea of my being with another person is a big turn off.

I guess it really would depend upon the personality of the individual and the type of relationship involved.
As far as it goes for me I don't think we would have ever gotten as far as we have if we didn't share them with each other.
It is easy to now, we have been together 7+years,
but in the beginning when I wanted to test the waters, I took a different tact.
I would say hey I read this story about...then relate my fantasy, and see what he thought. We also played alot of 20 questions and Truth or Dare,it was easier to open up that way for us. Not to mention the fact it was a hell of a lot of fun. Then after a year or so when I finally started getting a little more secure it just turned into hey I would like to try this, or I thought this could be fun, or will our insurance cover this if we break it doing???????????? |

Thanks people for your input.So far I have not shared hardly any fantasies with virtually anyone and I agree with that they are your own and that once you make it a reality the fantasy loses that extra something. |

Dee and I share our fantasies but like Chris and Sparkle we don't act on all of them. Case in point, Dee wanted to switch and be the spanker from time to time, I didn't want to bottom, so we compromised and found her a boy toy, David, whom she spanks on a regular basis. This arrangement worked for both of us and fulfilled her fantasy.

My spankee and I have learned over the years to share some of our fantasies. At first we were reluctant. She accidently found out about some of my fantasies (found explicit reading material) and didn't run screaming from the room so we discussed mine and she was interested and willing. That lead to discusssing some of her fantasies and that lead to adjusting our play to accmodate both of us.
Have we shared all our fantasies, no. She claims she doesn't want to give me any more ideas, and I dont want to let her know how weird I truly am.
On the whole it has been a very good thing for us.

I'm not worried about my husband thinking I'm wierd I just don't believe in sharing my fantasies, or sharing very many of them. They are mine and thats what makes them fantasies...keeping them to myself. |

I don't share every fantasy that pops into my head because that wouldn't be possible. I have a pretty fervent imagination, you see.
My fantasies generally fall into three categories: the ones I can live out with Dan, the ones I'm working on in my head so I can turn them into good stories, and the totally unrealistic ones that don't seem possible to live out for one reason or another (gravity, time, location). But occasionally there's some overlap in those categories. 
I suppose if I wasn't involved with as creative a kinkster as Dan, I'd have more fantasies to live out but with our imaginations, we keep each other pretty busy.  |

The reason I asked this question,to start with,is that my mind races virtually 24/7 and mostly it's sexual,whether I'm in bed,at work,playing football,etc,but my partner says she has very few.Maybe that's why we make such a good couple,opposites attract.
I've got myself so excited at work,in bed by just thinking that accidents have been very very close.lol.Sometimes I wish these thoughts would just ease off,but then I guess it's me who started it.There just seems to be no off switch,though a good spanking does help.lol again |
