J & I got married recently and FYI, do not try to DIY the centerpieces for your own wedding...it's very difficult! But I will say that a couple good things came from it. I bought fake flowers to use and some were still attached to the long stem that they originally come on. You know, the stem usually has wire in the middle and then layers of plastic, with the outside looking like a real twig. Except when I asked J for his wire cutters so he could snip the flowers off the stem for me, we realized that it didn't have a wire running through the middle! Ah-HAH! Long, thin, plastic twig...what shall we do with it? "Bend over..." Let me tell you, it feels REAL! It's switch-y with a burn that builds up quick! (or my bum is just wimpy, I don't know) And the best thing is, according to J, that it'll never wear out (three cheers for plastic for making this possible) and he doesn't have to "work hard," just flick his wrist. The second implement we discovered was a long, smooth dowel rod (that was also never used for centerpieces). We've never tried a cane before, but if it feels anything like that, we'll definitely look into getting one! I used to think canes were "severe" but that dowel rod really hit the sweet spot! Anyway, I thought that I would share the fruits of my experience because we had so much fun and both items were really cheap...and I didn't even intend them to be used for that kind of purpose! Added bonus, the plastic switch was really quiet, although I'm not sure if the rod was or not. I always knew hardware stores were fun for spankos...but I guess arts & crafts stores are too! Does spanking help tame Bridezilla tantrums? You bet it does! Lele

Thank you all so much! It's been a long time coming and we're so happy and relieved that to have actually done it! J reminded me of something else too...he said that now he won't have to spank me for not using the craft supplies I bought! Does spanking help tame Bridezilla tantrums? You bet it does! Lele
