I have been away and this is my first post in a long time. My discussion topic the the "code word" My wife and I have code words that can be used anywhere without tipping off our true intent. The serious one is “ we need to talk or do you need a good talking to? She is in trouble and I mean possible spanking trouble. The other side of the coin is we need to “discuss something” This means we need to discuss something and there is no hidden meaning, One of my favorite words is chastize. This can be understood as being verbal or corporeal without being explicit and can be used in public without embarrassment. Only my wife knows exactly what I mean when I say chastize - an OTL, bare bottom spanking. I do not use “the look” in public. Most people would recognize it as a warning with disciplinary overtones. I do not discipline my wife in public. A few more are “trip to the woodshed”, “whuppin” and “ware you out”. These phrases if used in a casual or in a light hearted way convey the threat without being too specific. These phrases can all be found on the sports page and political editorials How do you communicate in public? Thanks Chuck |
