Am I to assume from the inactivity that nobody's getting spanked, or are we just too busy to talk about it? |

I am new to the "Den" and busy reading through all the discussions from back when it first started - as well as getting spanked. There are so many interesting and funny threads; hilarious and thought provoking. The discussions seems to be dominated by 15-20 "regulars" and they have discussed every topic relating to spanking under the sun. As I am new to this whole spanking thing, I have actually learnt a lot reading through all the threads since 2006, but it also seems as if most topics have been "out discussed." There will quite obviously be more interest in participating in discussions when a site has just started up, but it would be a real shame if some people are holding back because something has been discussed before. Reading through the old threads I have actually come across the statement "we have been through this before" - which certainly makes me hold back in asking the same questions again. Am I wrong in thinking like that? Should we just start all over again? - for the sake of us new members. To this I would like to ask Bethie: "How is the influx of new members today compared to when the site started? It is a great site, thank you so much for doing it. I have learnt so much and it has made me feel almost normal. You are a great bunch of people. I wish I knew you in real life and not just in cyber space. |

Thanks for your feedback. I regularly read the new posts and participate when I feel like I can add something to the conversation. Unlike some members, spanking is not a regular activity, although it's regularly on my mind. My situation lends itself to the actual activity on an occasional basis, such as when all the planets line-up, but it's not for lack of want or of having a willing partner. So, I live vicariously through this forum and enjoy the experiences shared by others until it's my turn to play. I've considered starting a thread entitled "My Last Spanking" so that we can all describe our last spanking experience with one another - that could be a busy thread. I should look to see if it doesn't already exist. If all fairs well, I should have an entry to post after this weekend ;) |

Sorry guys I'm not here as often as I would like however Hubby does apply the paddle to my bottom as needed.
As far as asking questions I would say just ask, I love to hear what other are doing and thinking about, and it is nice to know that there are others who share the same feelings a lot of us have.

I've been thinking the same thing Boomer- Where is everyone-LOL! As a Newbie myself I was starting to get a complex from seeing my name pop up so often with few to no responses.Right now I feel like a kid in a candy store, there are so many things to read but they are all posts from so long ago. I hope some more activity starts up soon-at least for now I've got plenty to catch up on-I just have to stiffle my impulse to respond or add to chains that have been dormant for months.

All - give me a chance to set this thread up later this evening, but like many of you, I live vicariously through your real-life spanking adventures when I have nothing to post. It is frustrating to visit the Spanking Den and find that a day goes by with nothing to read. Theres always something to write about, so I advocate a thread like "Describe your last spanking." I think that would be a popular thread. I'll even lead-off with my last bun-burning. |
